HERITAGE PET GROOMERS

We have been going to Heritage several months now and we are completely satisfied. Our groomer, Casey, is great grooming Cockers and we are happy that we have found her! Brandi looks great after each grooming.

Pros and Cons: Pros: Reasonable price Nice staff Prompt service Cons: Failed to give my pet all of the medication they needed Failed to return one of their beds Failed to go over the check out list with my husband who picked her up. As a result, we found a half-chewed rawhide in her bag when she got home. (We didn't send her to camp with a rawhide nor did we request (or want) her to be given any due to gi issues) We suspect they gave my pet a rawhide (not approved by us) most likely to deal with her stress barking. Pet had stress barking. Was horse for two days. Pet lost weight while boarding, and most food was returned home with us Pet was not acting normal (usually playful, high energy) for a week after coming back. I've seen the pet "off" for a day or so after boarding, but not a week. We picked our pet up on a Sunday and there seemed to be no one around. Suspect the dogs were put in their crates on the weekend and left there. They seem to be very focused on the grooming business, but need to work on their boarding.

I have been going to Heritage Pet Grooming for many years.  They started out grooming my 185 pound St. Bernard and always treated him so well, even though he had bad hips and couldn't stand for long.  Their tables lower so he can step onto it without being lifted, and their holding areas for big dogs have plenty of room.  He never came back sore (whereas he was treated so badly at PetSmart grooming he came home and could barely walk).  The groomer at Heritage (Josh) would even help me lift my dog into the car to go home.  He always looked great after a groom, with shedding much decreased.  They treated him well all of his life.  
I brought in a Bernese Mountain Dog who was blowing her coat.  There was fur everywhere before I brought her in, but after their furminator treatment, all shedding stopped for over six weeks!  A true miracle!  
Now I bring in my Maltipoo, and they always do a great job with him, even though he's a nervous little dog.  He always looks great as well.
This weekend I'm adopting an adult Newfoundland, and Heritage will be grooming her for the rest of her doggie life as well.  I just can't recommend them enough.  Now that they've moved locations, they have boarding (where someone is actually with the dogs all night, unlike at the vet's office!)  and doggie daycare services too.

We have got to Lu for a total of 5 years over the past 7 (we lived out of state for two different years). She does a great job every time and even after moving out of Parker, we still make the trip when we need to have any of the animals groomed. Thank you, Lu!

I've been pretty pleased with this grooming facility. I think they do a pretty good job on my Bishon. They can be hard to groom so I'd say I get my money's worth. The level of time and attention given to my dog is satisfactory and I would recommend them to others.

Great cut. Our groomer broke her arm, but called to tell us she had a competent replacement, and would be there to surpervise. The cut was to our satisfaction.

Very satisfied with job of groomer and advised of issues to watch for in regards to our pet. I asked to be called when job was complete so pet would not wait as long, which they did.
