The tech who came out said the problem was the drain pump had failed and it would cost $325 to repair. Since it was 10 years old, we went out and bought a new one. The installer was taking the old one out and said the problem was the drain hose was clogged and the pump worked fine. He put in a new drain hose and we kept the existing dishwasher.

I hired Mr. Appliance after being dissatisfied with another technicians diagnosis of what he thought the problem was. The technician from Mr. Appliance (Jon Durand) called me two days prior to my scheduled appointment and offered me an earlier date and time which I accepted. When he arrived at my house Jon was very professional and demonstrated respect for me and my home. Jon got right to work performing checks of the dishwasher to determine the cause of the malfunction. Jon was very thorough and even ran a pre-programed diagnostic of the dishwasher which I didn't realize it was even capable of. After completing the diagnostics, Jon gave me a very detailed recap of what he had done and the issues he became aware of. He offered a couple of options and suggestions about how I might proceed. Before leaving Jon also gave my a book of several $50 coupons I can use for any future appliance repairs I might need. I am very pleased with the service I received from Mr. Appliance and will certainly recommend them. Definitely worth the $99 service fee.

I hired this company to come repair my microwave/oven combo unit. I had already gotten an estimate from a local company, but didn't quite trust them. I'm so glad I called Mr. Appliance!! After Greg came out and took a look at my microwave. He let me know that it was actually a different part than the other repairman had said (he could have said it was the same thing, I would never know), and the repair was going to be much less expensive. Very trustworthy. Being a woman sometimes I feel uncomfortable with repairmen that I don't know in my home. I never felt uncomfortable with Greg! Stand up guy! I would highly, highly recommend this company!

Quick and professional response. Would recommend technician to wear latex glove when working on part of appliance that require cleanliness like ice maker. Can't clean the part after it is installed.
