Scott was very professional and accommodating. He even went out of his way to make sure that we were very happy with everything.

I think Greenpoint has superior service in addition to a very professional crew. They took the time to correct problems other companies wouldn't. Very diligent in their work and timely. We had an issue with a roofing nail going through an air conditioning pipe which cause the AC to not work. I merely had to place a phone call to Scott the owner and he was out to our house within 2 hours with a check. I am a property re-modeler in Boulder and I do not give "excellent" recommendations out on a whim. They were so good that I connected them with our HOA in our neighborhood to help re-write the roofing requirements for Boulder country club.

This company was great to work with. Scott went above and beyond to educate and communicate with us. He even came out during the insurance company's initial consultation to point out where the hail damage occurred to ensure we were getting adequate coverage from our insurance plan. The quality of work exceeded our expectations, and they did everything in a timely, professional manner. Would recommend to anyone!

The short version: These guys are pros. Fast work, good pricing, excellent quality, dotted all the t's and i's. Don't hesitate to hire them. The long version: I received quotes from 4 different companies. Greenpoint wasn't the least expensive, but they were very competitive. What sold me was the professionalism. Scott B., the owner, knows what he's doing and runs a very tight ship. Of the 4 bids I got, two were downright sketchy (one said: 'let me get your insurance company to pay for that, it doesn't matter that there's no actual hail damage..we're good at this'; or the guy who said: 'oh man..I'm sorry, that quote was supposed to be $1000 higher! I've never done that in the 20 years I've been in this business'. Right. You will NOT get that from Greenpoint. They give you BBB ratings, a list of references to call, all their insurance and other liability coverage paperwork up front. They handle all permits and the City (and it's costs are in the bid). They consult with you to get the best color choices (i wanted a green roof on a house with a pinkish brick- bad idea; he didn't try to talk me out of it, he just talked me through it, thank goodness). Last, I had a second house (rental) that's getting up there in years. I asked Scott to take a look at the roof. His response: "You've got 5 more years on this, you don't need a new roof... but you have some things you could fix.. nails that are sticking up and not sealed, a leak that's causing damage to the back porch roof'. What did he do then? With any prompting from me, he offered to, and then actually come back later that day with one of his folks, and he fixed the nails and the leak over the back porch, pro bono (a 'thank you for your business' gesture). It was only 15 minutes of work, but it was easy for him to do, he said he'd do it, then he actually did it, fast, and professionally. It's simple: If you're putting on a new roof, hire this company to do it. Period.
