Bob killed it

Pleased with the whole experience. They gave us a date when they were starting and said the project would take 4 days. And at the end of 4 days they were 100% done. They cleaned up after. I highly recommend this company.

11/05/2021 We had a horrible experience with this contractor. The owner came to our home on a weekend to provide us with his sales pitch, discounts that we never asked for, pointing out everything that prior contractors had done wrong, and telling us how he and his business stood above the competition He access our previous patio that we had and we explained to him what we wanted done with the new patio as far as, design patterns for the stamping and the addition of the walkway we wanted added. He was very informative and share a lot of ideas which was what we were looking for someone with knowledge, but I picked up on his BS also. He told us how we were going to be so happy after the work was completed. Actual work entailed of removal of the old patio and steps and preparation of the base to pour the new slab for the new patio and new steps. Day of the pouring of concrete for steps and patio, I could not be present to witness the work, and frankly I felt confident enough that I did not think, I needed to be there as he had expressed his high quality and workmanship to us. The day of the pouring I received a call from my wife letting me know that there had been some issues with their employees at the house. The issues are as follows: The neighbor north of us was extremely upset because his yard had been trampled by the workers, oil spills on the street from the concrete truck, empty bottles of water on his side of the fences. Found a razor blade and nails on the grass where his little girls were playing. On our yard it looked like a tornado had hit with every tool laying everywhere, beer caps were found along the fence from their employees drinking on the job, a pile of concrete was left on the street. The poured concrete that had been poured and stamped, the contractor failed  and took short cuts in performing final details. Edging, final details of the stamping looked horrible. The concrete had dips where they knelt on and left dip imprints, the steps were not detailed after removal of the frame, leaving open edges against the house, area next to the steps and the house it slopes towards the house creating a water entrapment there and will end up ruining my siding. The siding on the house was plastered  and sprayed with concrete along with hand prints from their employees who leaned on the siding. The following day I sent the owner a phone text  message requesting to talk to him in person before the work could continue. He called me and told me that he could not come as he was on his way to the airport, I told him that I needed to talk to a competent representative from his business in person before I could allow the work to continue, and I wanted to discuss the above mentioned issues in person. He got on defensive right away and try to shut me up stating that my wife had him addressed the issues with him regarding the workers and needed not to rehash. I told him that as the owner and the person paying him for this service I had every right to address with him. He became very belligerent with me giving me  every excuse under the sun. At this point I told him that unless we discuss this matter in person that I would not hesitate  to get rid of him as the  contractor. I also wanted to discuss with him the issue regarding his conversation with my wife the day prior where he was rude and disrespectful to my wife when she was trying to address the issues regarding the employees. I further  wanted to discuss the issues with the concrete and he continue to make every excuse under the sun. He told me that in 29 yrs of doing this type work he had never had a complaint. That his was the first ever complaint he has had. I called him out  on it, calling it BS and I told him that I would not  allow the work to proceed until it was  further discussed in person.

Did a fine job, fast, clean, friendly.

They did an amazing job.

Bob is great to work with, super responsive and helpful! They did a great job with the concrete, were done quickly and cleaned everything up very nicely!

Hire direct. Subcontract everything sub is awesome, Bob is a middle man with no knowledge. Just a bad experience as so many other customers have said.

Everything was completed within a day and everything works perfectly thanks to Bob.

Bob and his crew are local to Arvada and knowledgeable. They do fast quality work. I have installed irrigation systems before so I know firsthand what it takes to do the work and what parts should be used. Bob's team crushed it and did a great job. Bob also did a good job talking me through the options and systems available for the best outcome. Thanks BOB!

Bob and William did a great job for us. Their crews were polite, responsive and professional. The retaining wall and stamped concrete patio and stairs are beautiful.

Bob and his crew were terrific! My job involved a complete re-do of both the front and back yards and the two sides of my 1961 ranch home. This included a new cedar fence completely around the back yard, new sod in the front and back yards, new grass and drip line sprinkler system, grading for proper drainage away from the house foundation, burying the downspouts, and Xeriscaping using gray granite rock, about 10 gorgeous rock boulders, and an abundance of beautiful low-water required annual plants, flowers, and ornamental grasses. To achieve this, LEM also had to do a significant amount of removal and haul-away of old bushes, a chain-link fence and the old grass and rock. The whole project was completed in 2 weeks despite an early spring delay due to snow and mud. Bob and his crew always arrived when expected and fully informed us as to what would be happening each day. I felt like Bob truly wanted to make our yard no-hassle, personalized and a place for great relaxation. He even went beyond the scope of the quote for several items and did not hesitate in doing so. Juan, an on-site manager, was great to work with. He was always friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable in making suggestions. Juan also listened to our questions or requests and made sure they all got done exactly as we wanted. The comradery and friendship of the crew was great to see, and they work well together – fast and carefully! I could not be happier with the completed project – my landscaping now looks like it belongs around a new built home. I can’t wait for the flowers and the bushes to start blooming so that I can enjoy all the beautiful colors. I highly recommend LEM Landscaping for any outdoor project. I know that if I need anything else, I will call Bob and get the best service and beautifully finished product. Thank you, Bob, Juan, and LEM Landscaping.

We needed back yard landscaping for our new home in west Arvada. We chose LEM Landscaping because of their ability to provide an integrated plan with grass, rock and concrete. Bob came out and immediately noticed things that we wanted fixed without me even saying anything. He marked our back yard per my plan, listened closely to our expectations, and didn't try to sell us something we didn't want. He even gave me a quote on the spot. Once the work started is where LEM really started to shine. The crew showed up on time every day, worked hard, and did very quality work. I never had to ask for something more than once. Bob even texted me pictures while I was gone on a work trip so I could see the progress. Our yard was completed quickly and professionally with outstanding quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LEM to my friends and family, and I already have! You can tell LEM is a family-run business who takes care of its customers and employees alike. Highly recommended.

Wouldn?t recommend using LEM for concrete work. They did a driveway entry for me and it looks terrible. It?s cracking, etching away and sinking in spots. The concrete now is a little over a year old and looks worse then the 15 year-old concrete in the other driveway. I?ve reached out to them all summer to get this fixed and keep getting the run around.

Bob and team are great and they did an amazing job on my home. We did a MAJOR overhaul of our landscaping (front and back yard) and I couldn't be happier. They are trustworthy, reliable, and willing to work with you every step of the way to make sure its exactly how you want it. This was a big investment on our end and I'm glad I chose LEM Landscaping. Bob really knows his stuff!

The entire project went very smoothly. Bob was very patient with the design process, conscious of my budget, and accommodated all my thoughts and ideas into the project. He took his time to really understand what would make my backyard perfect for me! I would recommend Bob and his crew to anyone! It's nice to find someone who is so passionate about his career!

LEM Landscaping did not start work because of bad communication on their part. This was a horrible experience.

Their not good at keeping pour dates, and the finish could have been better.

The contractor (LEM) sold us the job and collected the deposit then hired out the work to the subcontractor. Customer Service gets a 2 - When the job didn't go well, LEM washed his hands of the issue and directed us to deal with his sub. We ended up having a common acquaintance with the sub, so it all sort of worked out, but Chompers (LEM) just did the sale, and didn't advocate for us or stand behind any of the workmanship. We hope this job holds up. LEM never came back to inspect the job or check on anything. 3 for work quality, because we have extra joints because they didn't order enough concrete, a second truck came and delivered more concrete, but still not enough. The last load came approximately 6 hours later (really?!?) and doesn't contain fiber mesh reinforced. So we have a cold joint. 3 stars for value - We didn't get what we paid for with extra joints and an area without any fiber mesh. Concrete work in Colorado isn't warranted. We were told if anything went wrong he would come and replace the section, but we don't have anything to that effect in writing.

Bob (the owner) is amazing. Very knowledgeable and he is passionate about what he does. Highly recommend his company.

I am very demanding and Bob and crew was extremely patient with me and handled my demands and gave me a successful project of 300ft of 3 foot retaining walls, underground drainage for all my downspouts, leveled my entire extremely unlevel back yard and constructed 275ft of 6 ft fencing with 3 gates. Very responsive contractor - dramatically transformed my entire property.
