"Honestly, I Hope Everyone Reads This Review!! I Have a Friend who Own's a Restaurant and They Once Got a 1-Star Review because they did not cut the Toast Diagonally and Even though the customer never said anything about their displeasure of the directionality the toast was sliced - They Subsequently Left the Restaurant an Awful 1-Star review - So What did they Do? They made Bright Pink T-Shits Advertising that they were "Home of The 1-Star Review" - And they have had to Re-order the Shirts over a dozen times in the last 2 years !! If you mention this Review to anyone of our Team, we will Absolutely give you a 5% Project Discount and Tell you the real story about this Client !! I interviewed 4 different contractors. Hogan Construction Company was professional from the beginning. Mark took his time measuring exactly what was needed, gave recommendations and sent us a paper contract stating everything needed and the cost of the project. Other companies just looked at what needed to be done and said "We can give you a great discount" and quoted a cost (that was much higher than Hogan's). I would recommend Hogan Construction Company and will reach out to them when needed.

The communication and customer service of this company is reason enough alone to not use them. Mark over promises and way under delivers. From a business owner, we expect more. The project started 3 days late with zero communication as they just didn't show up. The incorrect materials were ordered and delivered (and thus the price was incorrectly quoted by over $1000) because Mark failed to properly review the numerous pictures and details we sent to him, or stop by with samples for us to view as he said he would. We were told four separate times that our job would take 3-4 days, max, including the time listed on our signed contract. In the end, it was two weeks before the job was done leaving our front yard and the street surrounding it trashed with bricks, buckets, equipment, cement, fast food trash and more for weeks. When we called to get updates and communicate with Mark, he seemingly ignored/screened our calls. We asked him to come to our house so we could discuss our dissatisfaction, and he never came. His response on the phone was â itâ ll get done when it gets done.â Mark messaged us only once after we complained about timing to tell us it would be â done by the end of the dayâ and that he was sending a â whole crewâ to make sure it was completed. We had one guy show up, clearly the job didnâ t get completed that day (or even the 5 days that followed) and we never heard another word from Mark until he came looking for payment. Certainly not the level of professionalism or communication we expect from a company we are paying thousands of dollars for services. Mike, the kind and helpful contractor who actually worked on and completed our job was absolutely wonderful. He checked in with us several times a day, gave us timing updates and even planted our bushes in the retaining wall for us. If we only dealt with Mike, we would have likely been much happier. However, we didnâ t. We dealt with the lackadaisical business owner instead, and for that reason, we would 100% NOT hire Hogan Construction again.

Installed french drain, added retaining wall with steps as well as grading/graveling parking and driveway areas. Nice, honest people who were very clear on the written quote (a rarity these days) and made sure I knew what was happening and that I was able to give input to changes that were needed as things went along. I am very happy with Mark Smith and his team and will use Hogan to do back patio and retaining wall work next.

They came in and demolished our two bedroom three bath with a full kitchen family room and made it into a three bedroom three bath and a brand new kitchen They were easy to communicate with the subcontractors were outstanding and someone from the company was at all inspections! Could not have asked for a more dedicated dependable company! Always available whether by phone text or email always got a response. Also never had any surprises were very upfront with any change orders and included me.

Horrible company with substandard work. Our project timeline was estimated to be about 3 weeks, and it took over 5 months to get to a product that could not pass building permit and code. The structure built was "Red Tagged". It had to be demolished and rebuilt. Mark refused to own his problem, by refusal to stand behind his work. Mark's work caused a STOP WORK ORDER and rejection by the building department. The company's "Estimate/Agreement" document says, and we were told that there was a 2 year warranty on their work. This same document originally relieved the company of permit compliance, but prior to accepting the work, we insisted that Mark "line through and initial" that the structure had to meet permits and code. No work product would be accepted, nor could occur outside of the approved permit. Well, their 2 year warrant did not survive a single day, and did not meet permit requirements. As a customer, nothing Mark says can be counted on. If you hire this company, your project is destined to fail. You would achieve more by simply burning your money...at least you would get warm. Avoid this company when doing your project, and look for more solid contractors.

"Not every project goes as planned, we were given a bad design and the existing structure made the project more challenging- unfortunately we were never given the opportunity to finish the project- we never walked away and we would have finished the project if given the opportunity- we found out in litigation that the homeowner had a history of scamming contractors and not paying for renovations"

Frustrating experience. They had too many projects going on at the same time. Our project took 5 months, verses the 5 weeks quoted. Nice guys though.

"I am sorry that you felt this way, Both Bathrooms Came out Amazing and Beautiful! I agree the timeline was off in my defense the original quote was for standard finishes with products that were readily available and after we started the project you chose to upgraded Both the Master Bathroom and Second Bathroom to Custom Cabinets and Specialty items that require longer lead times. The project timeline for both bathrooms was approximately 120 days, not 5 month due to issues with suppliers, overscheduling work and other vendors. I have learned from this experience and strive provide more accurate timelines in the future specifically with custom designs and special order items"

"When the Job was completed the homeowner gave all the workers gift cards as a thank you gift for the quality work, Unfortunately she provided all the fixtures for her project and they have not performed as she desired. The homeowner has had difficulty getting the manufacture to honor their warranty."

Brandon and Mark were a pleasure to work with. They installed a custom frameless shower panel, also called a European style splash guard, in my new bathroom. I went out to four different companies for quotes, and Hogan Construction came in far lower than everyone else. My final price including hardware, delivery and installation came to $620 whereas the highest quote I received was $1,300. Since the glass was custom made it took over a week to arrive from the manufacturer. When it arrived at the warehouse, a corner was chipped. Brandon made sure it was re-done in order to deliver a quality product. It was worth the wait. They were flexible in working around my work schedule, something not every contractor was willing to do. Brandon showed up at 7 am this morning for the install so I could still make it to work on time. Great job, definitely recommend them.
