I had two garage doors rebuilt and then eventually replaced in a prior home through Courtesy Door. When my spring broke at my new home the ONLY comp nay I would even think to call was Courtesy. Ron came by and did a temporary repair to get me in and out of the garage until he could install my new door two days later. The only delay was due to my choice of door getting ordered in or he could have done same day with a basic door. This company is top of the list!

Ron was able to come by the day after I contacted him. Ron showed up right on time, removed the old spring system and installed the new one in less than an hour. Very professional and a pleasure to talk to. If I need any garage door work in the future I will definitely be contacting him. I would highly recommend Ron!

Ron is very professional and his prices are extremely fair. He repairs what needs to be done, and doesn't try to up sell. I have used him twice. I've had the spring replaced previously. This time I used him for garage door opener replacement (switched from chain to drive) and cable replacement. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for service. I originally got his name from the previous owner having his card on the garage wall. I haven't been disappointed with the 2 service calls I made to him. He comes prepared with parts and is upfront on the cost.

Ron is a consummate professional. He can be a little gruff on the phone, but is incredibly fast, organized, punctual and especially available and has a great personality in person. His prices are always reasonable.

Ron provided a verbal quote to replace a broken spring the night before and arrived early the next morning to do the work. I had called two other garage door companies around 4:30Pm and either couldn't get through or couldn't get a straight answer on the cost. Ron was the exception.
After replacing all four springs we found a broken hinge and a nearly broken track glide attachment. Luckily Ron had all parts with him and replaced both items in short order.
The price was reasonable and the service response time couldn't have been better. There were no surprises and no upsell for products or services I didn't need. A rarity with garage door service. Even on the two extra broken parts, Ron offered to simply sell me the parts and let me do the work.

My garage door was having major issues going down and sometimes taking about fifteen minutes for it to go completely down. After finding this company on Angie's List and having great reviews, I called Ron who is the owner and one man show of the company, on a Thursday evening and he came Saturday morning at nine a.m. per my request. Once here, it was a simple fix as the sensors got out of wack which he told me he is commonly called for. At just a moments thought, I asked him about a key pad for my garage and he put it in right then at a very fair deal since I was already paying the labor cost of the initial call.

On 11/21/08, I went on Angie's List and got 3 names. Called all 3 and got estimates. Courtesy was not the lowest, but Ron was the closest and could get it done the quickest. We scheduled for a Wednesday, 11/26/08, install. On Tuesday, Ron called informing me he had contracted the 24 hour bug (or something..but he didn't sound good) and if we could reschedule for Friday after Thanksgiving. This was fine in my book (and I really appreciated the notice of change well in advanced). On Friday, 11/28/08, he called an hour or so ahead of time and said he was going to be early, which was really great. Upon his arrival, he described the 2 different systems - chain drive vs. belt drive (added value), after being educated I splurged and spent the extra $30.00 to go with the "quiet" belt drive. The job went perfectly - Ron installed the door within 2 hours; left the place spotless; showed me how to work the system and went out of his way to program my existing keypad to control both garage doors. This guy delivered much more than he promised and had a great personality to boot. I will always call upon Courtesy Doors in the future.

Contacted Ron by phone to get a quote. He came out the next day and replaced the rollers and pulleys. His quote was considerably lower than other contractors and the garage door works great now.

The servicing he provided was probably very simple and routine FOR HIM, but it probably would have been a big headache for me. I spent about $128 on materials and $58 on his labor (due to a coupon that I had). He was very polite and professional. The installation and all the syncing took probably 40 minutes tops.

The work was performed by the business owner, whose name is eluding me at this moment. He came the same day I called, did great work at a reasonable price and was a genuinely nice guy.

He was prompt, courteous and efficient, calling ahead of time of his arrival. He was available within eighteen hours of our call. He replaced the broken springs with a better quality product and provided extra services ensuring that everything was in working order.

Ron owns the company and does the work himself. He had the opener replaced and everything operational within a couple of hours of my call to him (on a Saturday). He is a very nice guy and did a great job.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB, THEY OFFERED TO COME OUT IMMEDIATELY, WHICH WAS NOT NECESSARY, SO THEY CAME IN THE LATE AFTERNOON AND FIXED THE SPRING IN A VERY SHORT TIME FRAME. THEY WERE $50.00 LESS THAT THE OTHER COMPANIES I CALLED, AND THEY DID NOT FIND IT NECESSARY TO 'FIX' ANYTHING ELSE. HE WAS VERY FAIR!

WE WERE ABLE TO CONTACT THIS COMPANY AND THEY WERE WILLING TO COME TO OUR HOUSE TO FIX THE DOOR IMMEDIATELY. HE WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO WORK WITH US. WE REALLY APPRECIATED HIS PROFESSIONALISM.
