Made an appointment for repair to take place at my home. Repairman was running behind and called me to inform. Bad rainstorm that afternoon and when he arrived conditions were not ideal. He offered to repair in my garage and service was completed to my satisfaction. Repairs were covered by insurance.

Windshield was cracked by a rock thrown by a passing car on a road under construction. Safelite was recommended by my insurance company and I had also used them before on a previous car. My preference was to go to the shop but they had no openings that day. They offered their mobile service and I accepted that. I chose to go with an aftermarket windshield rather than waiting an extra day for OME to be available. Because the car is so new, the mobile service called to explain it would be late afternoon before the glass was available. Installer arrived about 4:00 p.m. and had the job finished by 5:30. We took the car on a road trip 3 days later and there was no whistling at speeds up to 80 mph, leaking (rain and also in car wash), or any other possible problems. I would use the company again, but I'd pay the extra money to get OME glass since the aftermarket version has less visor shading and did not have the same design or look as the original. It would have been nice for the company to explain those differences to me rather than emphasizing the the after market glass was the same as the OME without the auto company logo on the glass. There really was a greater difference in appearance and the reason for my "B" rather than "A" in responsiveness.
