On September 13, I drove my truck out of state to leave at my vacation cottage. While there, the tailpipe broke off from the muffler, damaging the muffler. The noise was so loud that I had no choice but to have the exhaust system repaired. The repair entailed replacing the muffler, reattaching the tailpipe and adding a hanger that Collins had neglected to install. The total cost about $250. When I returned home, I went to Collins with photographs of the damaged muffler and tailpipe. The owner immediately started arguing with me and told me that he would not pay for some else to fix their shoddy work. I felt it best to let others know that they need to beware.
