+ 0 moreI took my pt cruiser to scottys, because it stoped running while i was driving. These guys stared looking at it, it was towards the end of the day so they told me that they would finish looking at it the next day. So the next day i received a phone call, they told me that the engine was bad and that it would have to be replaced they quoted me $3000.00. So i took the car home and looked at it. Started looking at it replaced the engine and go figure it stared right up. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO SCOTTYS MUFFLER IN GRAND JUNCTION!!!

Description of Work: Had front end vibration - was worried that it would get expensive - alignment, parts, etc. - turns out it was minor fix. I added oil change.

Description of Work: My brakes were squealing but I knew they weren't very old. I stopped in Scotty's and they told me that I needed hundreds of dollars worth of brakes work and that I shouldn't even drive off the lot because my brakes were so bad. I left in tears, as I didn't have that kind of money right then, and went to another mechanic who told me my brakes were fine and only had some dirt in them.

Description of Work: Examined my truck because I was having done transmission slip. Explained very clearly what was wrong, what needed to be done to repair it. Since the complete radiator was much more than I could immediately afford, helped with a temporary fix that worked very well. Highly recommended.
