When I purchased the fridge and stove along with an icemaker and 3 prong cord to be delivered 8/8/15. All items were in stock except the ice maker. We purchased these items on 7/19/15, we requested a morning delivery because we had to leave town that afternoon. The older gentlemen who helped us pick out the appliances was the only one who had half a clue what was going on. He was training a young new worker to ring the sale up. He even advised the kid what ice maker would fit the fridge. The morning of 8/8/15 we received a call from the Lowe's delivery team saying they would be arriving between 1-3pm, we advised them we had asked for a morning delivery on purpose, they claimed there were no notes on the sale. They finally arrived at 1:30pm and brought in the fridge but did not have the ice maker. It was claimed that they showed there was one received but none was in the store. As they brought the range in to install, they put it into place when I noticed the door to the range was broken. The guys messed with it and told me they could only give me a 10% discount. I advised them "no, I will not accept this range with a broken glass door all along the top". I was told when I purchased this range that they had 1 in stock and could get no more. The delivery men finally left at 3pm with the broken stove. The delivery men assured me they would check stock and would reschedule delivery. The next day we get a call on our cell phones and it was Lowe's delivery advising us they were at our home and we were not home. We told them we were out of town and could be there and asked why they did not call our cells before attempting delivery. They said they would call the next day to reschedule delivery. The next day they did not call. My husband went to the store, customer services paged a manager who never showed up. Finally an assistant manager apologized, listened and saw the delivery guys had randomly rescheduled the delivery for 8/22. Not a date we had heard before. She promised to/ locate the ice maker and the stove they attempted to deliver and call us. She never called. We called and scheduled delivery for 8/15. The range and ice maker were brought and installed but the ice maker leaked. We just fixed it ourselves. I will never again order appliances or any large purchase through Lowe's ever again. They are the most unorganized company and don't even check for damage before they install things, and even with 3 1/2 weeks lead time they could not have their act together for this delivery. I was very tempted to simply return everything and just start over, it would have been less headache.
