Overall, I am very satisfied with my downstairs bathroom remodel. They demoed, rebuilt and and re-tiled the shower, removed and re-tiled the space as well as custom installed a vanity and sink in a very challenging space. Jimmy Jr. was very responsive from beginning to end and responded and fixed some quality control issues when their was a little miscommunication. I wanted to finish the drywall and paint to save a little and they worked with me though the drywall installation was a bit rough and took a bit of effort to mud and tape. They were prompt and worked hard. We had some surprises revealed after demo that required upwards adjustment of the price and they were fairly reasonable in negotiating this. Jimmy Jr works hard and fast as the project manager.

Electric Boiler or Radiator Heating System Repair
I guess they were trying to con me to start because I had to request the invoice estimate would specify the model number if the furnace. They charged me $2400 for a new forced air furnace and labor. Charged 50% up front. Did not install a new furnace, instead they installed a heating kit and left all wires exposed. It stop working in less than 24 hours. I need this fixed ASAP. I have an unhappy tenant.

"Went to job on April 13th when we got there thermostat was satisfied. Unit was working properly. The unit you had before was a real old duct heater and they don't make it anymore. Gave you the model number of new duct heater before installation. Also the walls are so tight in closet we had to make this heater work. Spent 5 hrs installing new duct heater. All is working properly. Even when we got there on April 13 th the unit was working.Also if you look at our proposal for job it says new duct heater kit. You could not put a new furnace in there because it is a apartment and has a pan unit in closet and a water heater in closet. We don't lie."

Bathroom project came out GREAT! The tub we upgraded, very happy with the tile selection and grout, liked the faucets that were chosen and the plumbing was actually corrected from the old pipes. Project was done timely (within 3 days), workers showed on time and were polite and clean. Communication was an initial issue that is why I marked customer service down.

Central A/C Service or Repair
Our call to True Blue turned into a $5000 nightmare. We had made an offer to buy a vacant home and called True Blue to inspect the HVAC system. Their tech did the inspection and gave us the report. This was January 28th. Nighttime temperatures were in the low 20 s. Three days later we get a call from the listing broker. The furnaces had been left off by the True Blue technician. The water froze in the pipes, in the toilet tanks, in the bathtub, and in the faucets. Total repair costs were $5000. We contacted True Blue and they said there was no way to prove their tech had failed to turn the furnaces back on after he tested them. But the listing broker confirmed that no one had been in the home since the day we left. Repeated calls to True Blue led nowhere. We paid the owners the $5000 and learned a valuable lesson. Make sure the people you contract with are competent and honorable before you hire them. True Blue is neither.

But our tech stated that there where still 3 people in the house when he left, and he assured us that he did not turn off the furnace however we have taken the necessary steps to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else. Steve is a rockstar. This guy not only did a whole bathroom demo, plumbing, and tub setting in one day, but he came through with everything on my wish list within reasonable budget. I'm very new to home improvement projects and was very nervous about my first bathroom remodel. Steve was very reassuring, knows his stuff, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. I really trust his professional opinion and he didn't steer me wrong. He chose perfect tile for my project and found my dream tub in one day. It's such a relief to know that Steve will be my go to guy for my home projects. I can't recommend him enough! Even the contracted Tile company used was amazing. Everyone was very friendly, gave me great recommendations, did impeccable work, didn't cut any corners and did it right!

Buyer beware. Price for a relatively simple job escalated quickly. Because my house was already in a mess, I agreed to simply get it back in order, but I spent over $1000 for was was well under a $500 job. My own fault, I agreed, but I now have some serious buyers remorse. On the good side, however, service was quick, courteous, and the job was done right.

Cindy & Jimmie Jr were great. Cindy contacted me shortly after I put in my request through Home Advisor. I was able to get an appointment the same day. Jimmie was great. He was straight forward with me about my furnace. I elected to go with replacement due to the age of my unit. Jimmie made arrangements to have the furnace replaced in 2 days.
