Description of Work: Had extremely high winds at the house and was concerned about roof Damage. Found roof Corp of metro Denver inc and contacted them here. Their was response was quick and within a day they came out and inspected my roof. They found nothing they were concerned about. (It’s nice to have a company that’s honest and doesn’t look for problems) Easiest experience I have had with a company in a long time and they were very professional. If I do have roof concerns in the future I am definitely going to be giving them a call first!

Description of Work: This company is very highly rated on Angie’s list. Here is the litany of what happened: I made a query on Angie’s List and concurrently sent Alan Parkes a text as his Voice mailbox was full, and asked the question(s); Angies List: Me: “Do you repair tile roofs? Can you match tiles when doing so?” RoofCorp: “We can often match tiles. It just depends on the type of material and if they are still available. Thx” Me: ”Alan Parkes has indicated that Roof Corp does not repair tile roofs. So, this leaves me a bit confused. Does it depend on whether it's a terracotta tile or concrete tile? I didn't specify earlier, but we have Concrete type tiles. Can you clarify please?” RoofCorp: “There have been a lot of changes in the manufacturing of tiles over the last five years. As a result, there are many tiles which are no longer available.” Text messages with Alan Parkes: Me: “My name is Cass Andary. 8048 Grady Circle Castle Rock. I have a tile roof with at least 1 broken tile. I would like to arrange 1) an inspection of the entire roof and 2) for an estimate of any repair costs. Parkes: “I’m sorry we don’t do repairs on tile roofs. You can try Roof Brokers at 303-750-1900. Thanks, ALAN Me: “This is in conflict with how you responded through Angie’s List.” Parkes: “Sometimes Angie’s List has broad categories which they put us in. We do whole roof replacements on tile or major replacements that require a whole sidep to be replaced. For the small repairs, unfortunately we do not do that. Roof Brokers should be able to help you though. Hopefully that helps.” In defense of Parkes; I don’t think he saw the exchange on Angie’s List and couldn’t have responded properly, and, he did point me at someone he thought could help. However, whoever responded to Angie’s List clearly doesn’t have the party line installed and that has the potential to be very troubling for some folks.

Description of Work: Called this roofer 3 times to get a quote for fixing a roof leak. Each time I called I was routed to voicemail and left a detailed message with my name, phone number and a description of the problem I am having. Each call / voicemail to them was spaced at least 48 hours apart so they had ample opportunity to return my call. They never called back. So they get an "F" rating from me.

+ -1 moreWe only paid part of it and then insurance paid then rest. We paid 2000 for that and the insurence paid the rest. My husband really liked them. They were really prompt and they stayed with the job. The work is perfect. We haven't had a problem.
Description of Work: We got hail residence roofing and that reduced our insurance by 300 dollars. They had to take the old roof off. They took care of everything, had a clean yeard. They put the new roof on.

+ -1 moreI actually booked Roofcorp through Roof Brokers in Aurora. Mike, the owner, was immediately in touch with me, and we worked out the details, shingle selection, install date, etc. The only snafu was that he had told me the roof would be completed in a day, including the old roof removal and all clean-up. My wife does not work, but is quite busy, so she arranged her schedule to be home on the day of the install. She was not available the next day. Well, the team finally showed up that day after noon. By then, I had already been in touch with Mike, who apologized profusely. We rescheduled the roof for a 2 day install about two weeks later. They could have started that original day, but would have needed the next day as well, and, as mentioned, no one would be home the next day (we have two large dogs which needed to be inside while they worked, and we couldn't leave them in all day by themselves). So, this was dissapointing to have to wait (the shingles had already been delivered and were up on the roof), but the crew did show up as planned on the rescheduled day and worked into the twilight hours, then came back and finished up in about 4 hours the next day. The roof looks awesome, and from my layman's perspective, the quality of work looks to be excellent. They did an excellent job on the clean-up as well, which I very much appreciated. So, I'd highly recommend Mike and Roofcorp of Metro Denver if you need a new roof!

+ -1 moreIt was an excellent job and the salesman really helped us with cost. We had not replaced this roof for 20 years, so I was shocked at the cost, but it was certainly in the ball park with other estimates. The workers were quiet, quick, polite and helpful. The only thing I would have liked to know ahead of time was that when the dish was disconected it took the TV provider to place it back just right. Jim Hoyt who sold us the roof said they would take notice and let others know that ahead of time now. It took a few days for direct TV to come and service it. Actually it was a nice few days without it.
Description of Work: Removed the old roof on house and deck. Replaced upgraded shingles and better roofing material on the deck, which had been standard rolled roofing. Replaced a wind driven vent with a larger new one ( our purchase) and replaced pipe jacks and pipes. Cleaned up the mess and hauled away. They obtained the permit and notified the City when the job was complete and brought and posted the permit and inspection notice.

+ -1 moreI used Roofcorp to re-roof an old, leaking garage roof. They showed up promptly on the day of intended service, however the crew started setting up tarps all around my house (not just around my garage). I informed the work crew that my garage was to be re-roofed, not the entire house. They called back tot he main office and confirmed that the job was for the garage only, then thanked me profusely. They told me that they had been minutes away from tearing the roof off my house. When the garage was re-roofed the roofing materials were incorrectly trimmed and flashed. This was evident to me from simply looking up at the roof from the ground. I called to ask for and explanation, and was told that Roofcorp was having some problems with the crew that had done my roof and would send someone out to investigate. It took about a week, but a second crew came around and corrected the problems with the original roofing installation in a satisfactory manner. I give Roofcorp a "C" because despite the initial problems, they were easy to communicate with and readily remedied my problem once I called to make an issue of it.

+ -1 moreAstoundlingly good in each and every respect!!! we first called after we had been contacted by a couple of other roofing contractors regarding roof inspection, hail damage etc. These other contractors wanted us to sign agreements allowing them to negotiate with our insurance company and quoting a much higher price for no gutters and an inferior quality roof. the gentle young man from roofcorp remained patient through the drawn out process of us discussing the claim with our insurance. He never pushed for signatures, contracts or money but made us a good offer, showed us high quality roofing materials and treated my 88 year old mother (home owner) with complete respect as she made her decision. The work progressed swiftly, the cleanup was complete, What more can I say? We were so pleased with the crew, we ordered pizza be delivered on their next job site as a thankyou, Oh yes, They painted all the stacks, pipes etc to match and added some much needed ventilation and no additional cost. I just don't think you could find a better company. I have already recommended them to all my friends and family.
Description of Work: Tore off 3 layers of existing roofing. Put on all new underlayment and moisture barriers. Upgraded from the 3 tab shingles to a gorgeous Gaf (?) shingle with high profile and ridges that look very much like a shake roof. They sub contracted for all new seemless gutters and downspouts

+ -1 moreTHE ROOF WAS REPLACED AFTER WE MOVED INTO THE HOUSE BECAUSE OF THE TIMING OF THE CLOSING, SO WE HAD TO PICK UP COMMUNICATION WITH THE COMPANY. AT TIMES, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET CALL BACKS TO GET THE CONTRACT FINISHED, AND A TIME SCHEDULED TO REPLACE THE ROOF. I FOUND IT BEST TO CALL EARLY IN THE MORNING, SOMEONE USUALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE THEN, ELIMINATING THE CALL-BACK PROBLEM. ONCE WE DID MAKE CONTACT, THE JOB WAS COMPLETED QUICKLY. OVERALL, IT APPEARS THEY DID A GOOD JOB. HOWEVER, WE DID FIND A LEAK IN ONE SPOT THAT HAS CAUSED SOME DRYWALL DAMAGE TO A CEILING. THEY HAVE ARRANGED TO HAVE IT REPAIRED, AND DID QUICKLY RESPOND TO THE PROBLEM WITH THE LEAK. THOUGH WE'RE NOT SURE THEY REPAIRED THE LEAK IN THE BEST WAY. SINCE WE'RE NEW TO THE HOUSE, WE'RE NOT SURE IF THERE MAY HAVE BEEN AN ORIGINAL DEFECT IN THE AREA, OR IF SOMETHING HAPPENED AS PART OF THE TEAR-OFF/RE-ROOFING. THE COMPANY MAY BE FINE, BUT WE ARE NOT SUPER IMPRESSED BY THEM.
Description of Work: WE BOUGHT A NEW-TO-US HOUSE, AS PART OF THE CONTRACT, ROOFCORP WAS HIRED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER TO REPLACE THE ROOF. IT WAS A COMPLETE TEAR-OFF AND ROOF REPLACEMENT.
