JDI Windows

I am writing this review a few months after the install because I wanted to see how these windows held up over time. These guys did fantastic work. From my initial conversation with Rex, to the installation, everything was very clear and really well communicated. My wife and I felt really good talking with Rex about the different window options we had. We had reps from four different companies come out to give us a bid, and Rex not only gave us a great deal, he was the only one out of the four who didn't come across as the pushy, "salesman" type. The windows took around a month and a half to arrive, and all 9 windows and a sliding patio door were installed in one day. The the installers showed up on time, were polite and respectful, and were happy to answer any questions that I had during the install. They were extremely efficient, but also took the time to make sure everything was done right. Left my house cleaner than they found it! Would definitely recommend JDI.

Only complaint is they didn't seal the windows in the corners with caulk very well

JDI did an excellent job on my windows, I'd gotten pressured into a contract with Champion windows and Rex acted quickly to educated me about industry practices and ultimately helped me get much more for my money that I would have otherwise gotten. Rex's crew was great to work with and did a great job, everything went as expected, and I love my new windows. Would highly recommend JDI windows and have already recommended them to friends and family.

If we could give a 10-star rating we would. We recently replaced 12 windows with JDI and have nothing but the highest recommendation for them. Rex (the owner) is great; he's very personable, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly no high pressure sales pitch, which we greatly appreciated. The price was very competitive and we really liked that NO down payment/upfront money was required until the installation was complete. We had 4 bids and JDI was the only company that offers this. Darrin Sr. (installer) and his crew (Darrin Jr. and Rob) came out for the installation; they are professional, courteous, meticulous about their work and really nice guys. Darrin Sr. is great at communicating (scheduling, expectations, etc.). They were on time and worked continuously until the entire job was completed (1 ½ days). As each window was installed they cleaned the windows, vacuumed, cleaned up all construction material and reinstalled our blinds. Overall JDI service is superb and we highly recommend them. We are more than pleased and love the Amerimax windows.

We had Windows and sliding doors replaced. Rex gave us a very detailed estimate and there were no hidden charges! We had several estimates and JDI was by far the best. The installation was very easy and the crew was great. We would recommend JDI windows

Excellent review of needs and window type. Good communication with installer for measurement and ordering. Amerimax windows were manufactured quickly as I requested a short time schedule. The only down side came when I received a call from the installer for a delivery/ installation date. I rescheduled several appointments to be available and the morning of installation was advised of a delay due to manufacturerâ  s delivery of windows. Later advised shipment not in in time to do that day. Rescheduled for next day, again rescheduled some of my appointments. Advised by installer shipment was again late.. a few hours later was advised they actually couldnâ  t find the shipment. Later it was â  foundâ  and could they install two days later on a Saturday morning. I could not change plans for weekend and asked to install on Monday. Installer said he had another install commitment for Monday and Tuesday and couldnâ  t install until the following Wednesday. It would have been nice if he had shifted his time commitment since I had changed mine twice already. I was also not impressed with the way Rex, the sales person, tried to spin the delays into a positive about how much Iâ  ll like the windows. The actual install went well and looks great. The screens are a little â  wavyâ  and not tight in their frames. So I would say the quality of the product is good but not excellent. The quality of the install was excellent. The delays and the way they were handled was not good.

These guys were great! I had 3 companies quote and JDI had the best reviews and so did Ameristar. The sales guys brought a demo window to show me the features and understood that I was on a budget. The window manufacturer also has outstanding reviews and has been in business a long time. I'm in Denver and like the fact that the windows are made in Colorado so you won't get any gas leaks from the window from pressure differentials that you would get from a window made at sea level. As for the install, the crew was very nice (although late my pet-peeve). I was a mess because I didn't realize how quickly the windows would be made so I had to cancel a lot of plans. I appreciate the crew trying to make everything perfect and fixing items that got damaged (I think it actually looks better with the fixes). And I appreciate them paying attention to detail (big browny points) So just be prepared that this won't be as smooth as you think. Unfortunately, the sales guy tells people it takes 1 day for install, sorry that's not quite true. I watched my neighbors house take a week. My house took 2-3 days and I had 9 windows, but if you want it done right and to look good then just let the crew do the job. I also like that the install crew came back the 3rd day and did a walk through with me and did some more touch up before I wrote out the check. I highly recommend them! These windows look fantastic and its so quiet now. And the install crew has great customer service and very eager to please.

These guys cleaned up during the install and left the place cleaner than when they arrived. The windows are great. The install is great. All is right with the world after our new window install!

Our home had the original windows which were not very sound proof or insulating. We gathered three bids and JDI's bid using Amerimax Craftsman Portrait windows was the best value. Last week, we had 25 windows replaced and were pleased with the quality of work done by JDI's crew who were both professional and polite. We immediately noticed a significant decrease in outside sound and are looking forward to a warmer home. In our opinion, it's well worth getting a quote from JDI.

I received excellent customer service and quick install of 18 windows. I knew it might be a challenge since I am overseas, and the time difference made it difficult to communicate. Rex made the effort and made me feel comfortable about all the questions I asked (since I made the purchase without ever physically seeing the product). I am very happy with all the folks at JDI and would highly recommend them!

We just had all of our windows replaced by JDI. Rex came out and gave me a quote for windows, which also include 3 custom changes. The quote was far better than others I had received, and the job was completed at the quoted price. Todd and Joe did a great job, were very courteous and cleaned up at the end of every day. I would definitely recommend JDI.

Great experience with JDI! I had some issues with my new windows that the home builder installed and Rex took care of the problem without any issues. In fact one of the few companies that didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. Tony came by and took his time to do it right. Would definitely use them and again and highly recommended.

My husband and I just had brand new windows installed by JDI Windows. Both Rexford Hayden and Vernon did a great job! I reached out to Rex and JDI Windows because of the good reviews that I saw online via Yelp, Home Advisor and Google. The reviews don������t exaggerate. From the first contact I made with Rex he was very friendly and approachable. He set up an appointment to meet my husband at the home a couple of days later. The quote we were provided was great and competitive compared to other area window installers. I also loved that the windows were made by a local company out of Longmont. Our house is 50 years old and the original windows were there. Vernon removed and carried our old windows away and installed the new windows all within a matter of hours. The windows were exactly what we ordered, were installed professionally and he cleaned up the areas he worked in as well! During the time that we were waiting to get everything installed, Vernon made sure to keep us in the loop regarding the timeframe that he would be over to install. Really great job and I would highly recommend JDI Windows to my friends and family when they need windows!

My house had heavy hail damage and 12 windows were damaged. I researched window company on line and found so many great review for JDI windows. I just sent text message to the owner of company Rexford and got replied promptly. He came my house on time and was very professional. Bid was reasonable and affordable. All processing was completely done as schedule. I was expecting at least 2 days to replaced 12 windows because location of windows were very high and I saw my neighbor house window replacement took 2 or 3 days, but JDI team came early in the morning and started to work and finished completly same day. All new windows turned out great looking. We are greatly satisfied with JDI windows.

I can not say enough good things about JDI. I interviewed quite a few window companies and thought I knew who I was going to go with. My husband did a bit more research and saw some great reviews on JDI. I called them and I am so happy I did. Rex gave us options that no one else did, which saved us money. Great company, installers were great and friendly. Would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for new windows.

My only disappointment is that I can't give JDI more than 5 stars, because they are SO worth it!!! If you are looking for windows, I absolutely PROMISE you can't do better than JDI Windows. As you already know, windows is one of the largest investments you can face as a homeowner. I have been shopping for several months to ensure that I got the right fit in regards to quality, price, professionalism, and long-term gain. When Rex came to chat about my window needs, he was here for not even an hour; but, by the time he left, it felt like I had been spending an afternoon with an old friend. I talked to a LOT of window people, and Rex blew them all away! He came fully prepared, he had a great handle on my budgetary needs and didnt try to push for more in fact, he even made some cost-saving suggestions that I didnt even know about! As for timing and delivery, I could not have asked for more. We placed our order the week of Thanksgiving, and Darren and his crew were ready to install by December 11th! Because of my schedule, the windows went in a week later, but Darren pushed hard to get them in before the weather changed. The day of the install, Darren arrived with 3 other gentlemen on time, cheerful, and ready to get to work. I can not even express my delight at how kind, professional, non-obtrusive, and respectful all of them were. I had 9 windows done (7 of them were pretty large) and a sliding patio door. They had everything completed, cleaned up, and ready to go by 3 that afternoon. And the level of attention to detail!!!!! Anthony was even on his hands and knees with a shop-vac making sure every single sign of the install was cleaned up and taken care of how often do you see that!?!?!?! They were all so kind, friendly (but not overly so, if you know what I mean), and attentive. I have been a homeowner for almost 30 years and I can tell you that I have NEVER had such a positive experience with a company that I have contracted to do work on my home. If all of this weren't enough, the quality of my windows is fantastic!!! I actually noticed a huge improvement that very evening! I had 30 year old windows that were in terrible shape, but the Amerimax windows that I am now so proud of are SO worth the investment. They are super-easy to operate and maintain, and my electric bill has actually dropped by almost 40%! In addition, they have a great warranty, and they are absolutely beautiful both to look at AND to look through!!!! I have even had some of the neighbors come over just to compliment me on the windows and ask who did them. Of course, I am telling them all to go straight to JDI, they won't regret it.

Can't say enough good things about Rex and his team at JDI. Rex (owner of the company) was the third quote I got on my windows and Im sure glad I waited on his estimate before going with one of the "other guys". Not only was he the only one that actually broke down the quote into line items for me to see what was the raw cost of the materials, the labor, his profit margin, but he was also the cheapest! Now, rest assured, I was not just looking for cheap on this window replacement. I really wanted top-quality to reduce the draftiness and give me a significant reduction on my heating bills. The Amerimax windows that JDI sells are superb. Locally made in Colorado (an added bonus to support local manufacturing) which means that they have the correct amount of Argon gas for our high altitude. They came in on schedule (was estimated 4-6 weeks and they came during week #5), and despite a small delay due to subzero temps in early November, the installation was handled seamlessly by Darrin and Tony. Top quality work all-around. No reason to look elsewhere or to spend 2-3x's as much money with one of the big name guys. Go with Rex and JDI Windows for your window replacement job!

Excellent service! Excellent product and most of all the quality of workmanship was outstanding! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to install/replace windows. Theinstallers were very courteous, true craftsmen and communicated with me perfectly. The job was clean and neat and fast. And, they are a great value for the money, I shopped around enough to know. When Rex gave me the bid and broke it all down I was very impressed. There were no hidden charges and no surprises. Awsome!!!!

Darren and his crew did a great job of installing my new windows. They were very efficient, courteous and just generally nice to work with. After completion of the job, I noticed that the shade on one window didn't align with the new window. Rex explained that is because the size of the new vinyl window frames differs from the old aluminum frames. That was not explained to me prior to contracting with them, so he offered to replace my shade. I was thoroughly impressed with him and would defintiely recommend JDI Windows to anyone who is looking to replace windows.

Seems to be a very poorly run organization. We were told we would be contacted by the installer, we never were. Until they showed up to do the work. On the 2nd day of work, they were 4 hours late and then simply walked in the house without ringing the doorbell. The work seems to be fine, but I don't appreciate being ignored for 3 weeks just to have them show up late while I had to sit around the house all day. Maybe others have had good experiences, be we did not, so we would not recommend them.

When Rex came to my home for a quote on new windows, he gave me all the cost breakdown (that way I know where my money is going) and answered all my questions. The installers did a great job and I can tell they had a lot of experience installing windows and I am very happy with the outcome. Thanks JDI! I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
