I received an alert in my car that the front right tire pressure was off. So I went to the gas station to put air in my tire.  That being said I over thought the alert and which tire there was an issue with so I ended up messing with both front tires. Inevitably my car indicated that both front tires had issues.  In a panic and new to the area I stopped at a neighborhood auto shop (Community Auto Repair) hoping for some help. They helped me immediately, fixing the issue with out any charge or making an appointment. Its nice to know I have a great neighbor where I live.  Going forward I'm bringing my car to Community Auto Repair.

Perfect...no problems.  They did what they said they would do and my car performed perfectly....

Ken  runs an examplary shop. We have been taking our cars to him for a few years and I've always meant to write him a positive review. My last experience finally brought me back to Angie's list to give kudos to Community Auto Repair.
He had let me know at my last oil change that I would need to change the timing belt on my next visit. He gave me an estimate which, as always, was reasonable (according to my dad who, while thousands of miles away, still keeps up to speed on my car's condition). When Ken and his crew changed the timing belt, they also noticed a hairline crack on the cover which they replaced since they had already performed the labor of "unpacking" the engine. When the hybrid system needed to be reset, he figured out how to make this, relatively new, fix.
Throughout it all, Ken kept me up to date and allowed me to use his loaner car. He was more than reasonable on the price.

Community Auto Repair is the most honest auto repair shop I have ever been too and the only one that tries to save you money.  I have been going there for years.  They are amazing for several reasons: 
1. Once I took my car there and asked for a tune-up and they actually called me  once they had my car and told me that my car looked like it had already been tuned up and said it was unnecessary.  (I did not realize  that my husband had gotten it tuned up elsewhere a few months previous).  This was incredibly considerate and saved us over $100.     
2. Our car was stolen off of our street, and the owner went to the junkyard personally and picked out new wheels which he gave to us at cost.  He also gave us a great deal on an expensive new engine component which was destroyed when they hotwired the car.  Additionally, they recommended an inexpensive and very reliable towing service to get our car back, which was great since tow trucks are usually extremely expensive.  
3. Their repairs are always great quality.  I have never had any trouble with anything they have fixed.  
4. They are very nice and genuinely care about their customers.  You will not be disappointed if you try them out.  Their prices are very reasonable too!

They are very timely and do a very thorough job. They got a great receptionist in the front office, who is very personable, polite, and answers all your questions. They have a waiting area and there is a coffee shop around the corner as well. They also have loaner cars.

I take both of my cars to them and they go above and beyond.  They are very cost effective.
