My house is three years old. Ac would not function correctly and my nest said that the r wire was not receiving any power. I was charged for two different things that I did not need amounting to ridiculous amount of money that I later found out that I did not need to spend. It makes it even more frustrating that I’m a single homeowner and don’t have a lot of money just throw at these projects. I spoke to two additional companies afterwards regarding the situation and was told that not only did I overpay, but I did not need as much work done as was told to me by Rachel. I guess you live and you learn!

Brian was very nice. He showed me what he planned to and asked me if that was okay. Then he showed me what he did and why he did it that way. I learned a lot!

Tech tested water pressure at 91 pounds and was unwilling to simply replace (2) washers at each valve, which is a simple repair, without adding a pressure relief valve. It took me about an hour and 15 minutes total, including testing and turning water off/on in crawlspace. My cost..$54.45, his quote..$2,280.59!

It was complicated, but they handled it very efficiently. They informed us about everything they had to do to hook it up to meet code. They made an effort to save us a little money on a very expensive installation.

Applewood was great! The tech showed up within an hour of us calling and went right to work. He found and fixed the problem almost immediately and did not try to up-sell us. He also inspected the rest of the wiring while he was here too. We will definitely use again.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Lee and Laura during their visit to my condo to look at a non-functioning hot water heater last night. They answered all of my questions and offered multiple solutions for the problem including providing information regarding the cost of replacing the 12 year old unit down the line, if necessary. I would highly recommend using Applewood P & H for your future hot water heater, furnace or air conditioning repair and maintenance. They will definitely be my “go-to” company for any of my future needs.
