I had a very hard time closing my mothers estate with them. My father had a senior citizen account that was not supposed to be charged. However, every single month they withdrew money from the account and my father had to argue the charges. My friend could barely access the money that her son had left in after he had passed away. It was an extreme hassle to close the account. I've had nothing but bad experiences with them.  The tellers were trying to be nice, but they are limited by national policy. They said no with a smile.

First off just right this review brings back to mind how stupid I feel for doing business with them for as long as I did.I originally did my banking with the Colorado Springs National Bank which became United Bank which became Norwest which became Wells Fargo.  I was a good customer and never bounced a check or made a late payment in the 30 years I did business with them.I started to notice their fees for everything began to creep up about 10 years before I left them.  I asked for a fee schedule for my business account and recieved a 16 page itemized list of all their fees!!!!On multifle occasions my personel had difficulty logging in to our online accounts and it took days to resolve what turned out to be sanfu's by Wells Fargo.  I finally became fed up with the predatory fee charges (they even charged my employee's a fee to cash my payroll check at my bank!) and indifferent personell and move my accouts to ENT and have been totally happy for over 10 years.

They were very professional and tried to make the application process as easy as possible and are very responsive. No long waits on hold, and calls were returned right away. Wells Fargo does not sell mortgages so no hassle stemming from mortgage transition.
