Twin Tigers Acupuncture & Weight Loss

After going to the ER, doctor and then physical therapist in one week, I was still in a lot of pain from a hip injury. All I was told was to 'ice' it, take Motrin and rest. Out of desperation, I called Twin Tigers. I had never used acupuncture and was leery of it effectiveness. Jennifer did a great job informing me of the benefits of acupuncture and what to expect. The initial assessment of the injury was very complete. You can tell immediately that Jennifer had extensive medical experience. During the treatment session, her calming explanations made the treatment quite relaxing. The effectiveness of the procedure was immediate as I left without pain. She followed up to make sure I was feeling better and offered additional suggestions on how to minimize the pain. She was very professional throughout the entire time I went getting services.
I firmly believe that going to Twin Tigers for acupuncture relieved my pain and accelerated my recovery much faster than if I had just done physical therapy alone.

Jen Mansur is amazing! The atmosphere of her office is relaxing from the second you step in. I was pretty nervous the first time, but quickly realized that it wasn't painful at all. It actually is quite refreshing to go!
My most recent visit I went because I am 6 months pregnant and have been getting these weird rashes on my skin that almost look like bites. I have been getting them one after another for the last 5 weeks. After showing Jen pictures we weren't sure if it was something biting me or a rash. We decided that it was probably something biting me, more then a skin rash - but she did balance me out which she said would help me with everything being drained from my body from pregnancy. Not only did I feel GREAT afterwards, strange enough I haven't gotten another "bite" since seeing Jen!

I had pain in my wrist for over a month that my MD could not diagnose. So, I tried acupuncture for the first time because I needed relief and an alternative to pain killers. She explained everything. She put in 5 needles and I didn't feel anything. It did not hurt at all when she put them in. And within the hour I felt no pain. It lasted about 1-2 weeks and the pain came back gradually, but not as bad. As she explained, I may need a couple more treatments to make the pain subside completely. But my MD couldn't even diagnose me and wanted to give me pain meds. I have children and I can't be doped up all day. So, having an alternative was awesome! I will go back to her over and over.
She also does a weight loss program, Ideal Protein, that I tried last year and lost 20lbs in 3mo. The food is great, the program is great, she is great. And explains everything thoroughly and supports you all the way without nagging you or making you feel bad if you cheat on your diet. But she gets you back on track.
