It took him about 2 hours as he predicted and when he was finished he explained it all to me.

Joined Angie's List, then that same day I contacted five businesses. Met with three of the companies for a quote. They came in the second best price while comparing red apples, with yellow apples and green apples but Home Heating Services (HHS) did the most in-depth inspection of my property and I didn't feel pressured at any time. While they offered different brands, sizes and energy ratings I decided on the business that gave the lowest price because they also had great Angie's List reviews. But before I had a chance to call them HHS called to see if I had made my decision. I explained to HHS why I decided to go with the other company. HHS decided to lower their price since it was the slow season and to win my business. Since the price difference was now minimal I decided to go with what appeared to be the most professional of the three companies. They showed up on time, completed all the work on schedule, cleaned up and provided instructions to my tenant and me on how to work and maintain the equipment. Everyone was polite and professional from beginning to end and I'm 100% satisfied. I expected HHS to do that little bit extra and when I inspected their work I hit my head on a pipe (I'm tall) but it didn't hurt because they put foam on all the pipes just for people like me. So they did not disappoint and they did those little extras as I had hoped they would. I will use them again for ALL of my HVAC projects.

I have had no further problems with the furnace. Home Heating Service will be the company I turn to first in the future. At a time when other companies were telling me that it would take one or two days to get around to my nonfunctioning furnace (with single digit temperatures outside), HHS responded immediately. They provide first class service at reasonable prices.

Everything went well. The install went as planned and I added the coil cleaning because they were already there. I marked them down on punctuality because I was told they'd be there between 8-9 but when I called at 9, they told me it was scheduled for 9-10. They showed up a little past 10 and had to go back to the office for parts they forgot. One part being the pad which they told me wasn't included in the price but they honored after I mentioned that they specifically included the pad on the day of the quote. I marked them down on price because they quoted a price and then told me to go to the web, Angie's List, or the phone book and get a coupon. The guy didn't specifically say it would work but really led me to believe that it would. When it came time to pay, I presented the 10% off coupon and was told that it only applied to services and repairs and not to installs. This was the same guy who originally told me about it. Additionally, he told me that the coupon was expired. This is the same coupon that I printed from their website that morning and the same one that I used on a previous call two weeks prior, which was expired at the time but they accepted. It expired at the end of May which is right when it starts getting hot out. I found another coupon on the phone book's website for $200 off Air Conditioners. That one was also refused and deemed only for full unit installs, not just a condensor. I then joined Angie's List to see what coupons were there but it was the same as their website, just not expired. In the end they honored the orignal 10% off coupon - not really sure why. It was pretty troublesome at time of payment because I thought my price was going to be about $300 less but then felt lied to when they wouldn't take anything I found besides 10% off the coil cleaning. I think they did a good job and having the air fixed is nice but the price was a point of contention. If you're going to use them and use some kind of coupon, make sure it works before counting on it. I feel like the only reason I got them to take their coupon was because I was persistent - I'm not sure that a more meek person would have the same results. In the end it's my fault for not checking the coupon more thoroughly but the whole coupon thing was a bit shady. The job they did was great. I would recommend them for the quality of work they did but I would caution you on price. It was just the price haggling, from the pad to the coil to the coupons, that put a bitter taste into my mouth.

They were very good. We were able to talk with them and they were open to negotiate a price. They are very friendly folks who are easy to work with. The workmanship was competent. What impressed me the most is how willing they were to negotiate price.

I am very pleased with the professionalism and work completed on my home. The initial free estimate was very thorough an accurately calculated. Out of the 4 companies that I had estimates from their price and professionalism won the bid. The installation went flawlessly and they were done in one day. The AC unit works great and fill my home with the cool and comfort we were hoping for. They were also able to work with my existing electrical panel by freeing up a 220v line by recommending switching to a gas dryer which we had a line for already. That saved a lot of money! Also, they were able to configure the cooling coil without "uninstalling" the whole furnace (which one company wanted to do and charge quite a bit extra for). As I stated above ,I am very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Thank you!

I liked the fact that company was able to fit me into their schedule with a few hours notice given that AC was not working. Appointment was between 1 and 3 and I did not get a call from the technician that there was a delay. After calling and just verifying someone was still coming out the technician showed up about 40 minutes late. Other than that, the entire experience was outstanding. Carlos was very professional, looked over the whole system, located the problem and then did the normal seasonal service to get everything working 4.0 Took the time to exaplin some things about ACs in this climate and the use of humidifiers/de-humidifiers and seasonal settings that were pretty foreign to a Floridian like me. Our entire experience of having a new furnace, air conditioner, and air cleaner installed by Home Heating was great. The whole process was capped by the Regional Inspector commenting "you can see that this installation was completed by someone who has pride in their work." Derrick Rose, our sales person, worked to please from the outset, outlining the three days of work. Since we were getting a variable speed blower (capable of higher air velocity than our current system), we began with having the ductwork cleaned. Clint made the ductwork shine, literally. The price seemed high initially for cleaning the full house ductwork (18 registers) but Clint cleaned them, most with liquid cleaner, and all of the cold air returns thoroughly. (The job needed it because he found original building material debris amongst the years of dirt.) By the end of day, we had our money's worth!!! Clint and Chris returned the next day for removal of the old and began the installation of the new. Both men were cleanly dressed, courteous and considerate. By the time Chris finished the installation on the third day, we were pleased with our decision to go with Home Heating Service. Clint and Chris removed all of the old equipment and vacuumed as they wrapped up each day. Home Heating Service even arranged for the Regional Inspectors to drop by and give their stamps of approval.

It went very well, it took two days because they had to run coil for A/C to work. They hired the Electrician to come and hook up the A/C. They do very good work we are very happy with both of them. When they suggest what is the best they are not pulling your leg. They give options to. We did get a 1200.00 rebate for the Lennox

We have used Kyle and Pam Gately's Home Heating Service since 1989, at our other home previous to our current home. Smaller family owned business, very ethical and nice, good products and prices and you are supporting a local business! This last time was a full furnace and air conditioning replacement for over $6000 but they gave a 3% discount for cash--great deal. Excellent job, no mess or fuss! Previous to this, they replaced our water heater with the same level or professionalism. We have used Home Heating entirely since 1989 for all our annual tune-ups and any replacements. Had a new Rheem a/c installed at our previous house. Just a great company, great employees, and great owners!

We had a wonderful experience with Home Heating Service. Their crew was respectful, on time, and efficient. We just had our city inspection and the inspector said it was clear that not only was it obvious that the work was done by people who knew what they were doing, but it was clear they really took pride in their work. Went well, understood the problem with our furnace.

They were prompt and completed the job faster than anticipated.

I first called the 24 hour service at 12:30am because my furnace wasn't heating and it was only 21 degrees outside and the inside temp was reading 55 degrees. I knew enough that I had performed some self-checks prior to calling. The 24 hr tech (Chris) called me right back. After I described the problem and answered a few of his questions, he advised me that since it was after hours, he would have to charge me $245 after hours fee and most likely, if it is what he thought it was, he didn't have the part needed for my repair in his van so he might not be able to complete until morning. He advised me that I could just shut off the fan that was continuously running and call back the non-emergency voice mail and leave my information and tell them I needed a daytime appointment. He reassured me that my situation was not dangerous as long as I wasn't smelling gas. My model of furnace does not have a pilot light, it has an ignition switch and my concern was whether if I turned off the furnace there was any danger. He said it would just be cold but no danger. He said in waiting until morning, I reduced my service call fee to the regular hours fee of $85. Since money is tight, I appreciated his honesty. First thing in the morning, I received a call back. The person who called was very polite and sympathetic and said she could have someone out between 10am and noon and they would call when they were on their way to my house. Max Mera called me at around 11am and arrived shortly after. He asked me about the problem and went right to work performing the diagnostics. A little while later he brought me a part and showed me and said that was the part that failed and it was a$130 part plus the $85 service call fee. So I told him to repair it. He got the part from his truck, replaced it and then tested it. He asked if I had any questions and then made a recommendation that I removed and power wash my blower assembly because it was very dirty. He offered to come back that day or the next and told me what the fee for that service was. It was $175, and being on a limited budget at the moment, I felt that was not something I could afford right now and knew I had a friend with HVAC experience that I could probably get to do it for much cheaper. But then Max also looked at my humidifier that wasn't working and advised me a few inexpensive things I could try because to replace the one part was $85 and if he did it, there would also be a labor charge/service fee. So, he gave some good advice and suggestions after he made the repair and then advised me of a Facebook "Like" sweepstakes where I could win $150 gift card if I "Liked" them and shared it on Facebook. I did. In all, very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. Very responsive, professional, helpful and reasonable.

On a Sunday, I heard very loud noices coming from the furnace. It sounded like a motor - or airplane! I had no idea how serious it was and hated to pay a Sunday fee if not needed. So I called Home Heating and they talked to me over the phone. They had me take the phone to the furnace and listened to what I described and the sound. They were pretty confident what is was and felt I was not at risk to need a Sunday call. They said they would come out first thing Monday - if I wanted to wait. I did. I did call other companies based on their input to compare prices and they were at the same - or better than others I called. It was exacelty what they said. Max came out and was very professional and gave me tips on things I could do myself to save money. He was very honest and certainly made me feel like he was most interested in saving me money while making my home safe. I highy recommend this company and have to many others. I will be calling them again very soon!

All the items we agreed on were installed. All the work promised to be done was done in a highly professional manner in the time frame promised. No additional charges were incurred. All the work areas were thoroughly cleaned up before they left. So far we have only used the furnace (work was done in February and this review is early March). The furnace and humidifier are working fine.

Excellent, high quality work. All employees were professional and punctual. I would highly recommend this company.

The job was scheduled to take 2 full days. They showed up by 9am and finished at 5pm each day. Due to unforseen problems with the old thermostat wire they kind of had to rush at the end of the second day to maintain their schedule and even ended up calling in an addidional technician to help out. They subcontracted an electrician to install the 230v line required by the AC unit. The electrical wiring install was great. He ran conduit from the attic to the basement so I can even add another line in the future if I want. I hated to see them drill holes in the side of my house but the new HE furnaces require PVC pipe for intake and exhaust. Except for sloppy caulking in a couple spots they did a professional install and everything looks great considering the tight space they had to work with. The county electrical & HVAC inspectors who came the next week said both installs were well done. Overall I am extremely pleased with the new furnace and cant wait to try out my new AC this summer. The new furnace is so much nicer and very quiet.

Chris took time and care to clean and test the furnace. He restored it to efficient working order. He addressed all of our concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

We have used Home Heating Service to: 1) tune-up the furnace (November 2011) - at which time we joined the Comfort Club which means Home Heating Service performs maintenance on the furnace in the fall and on the a/c unit in the spring 2) install an air cleaner (January 2012) 3) perform an energy audit (April 2012) 4) air seal and insulate the attics (May 2012) 5) install a humidifier (January 2013) I am very satisfied with their service. The staff is friendly when I call to schedule an appointment and the service call can usually be scheduled within a few days. The repairmen are very professional. They call to let us know they're on their way and they explain the work they are doing.

They are a great company. They were very responsive, willing to give me a quote on anticipated repairs, and were able to come out the same day working around my schedule. Clint was professional and tried to resolve the problem without the need to replace parts. It turns out that we do need the replacements at some time in the near future, but the cost is about half of what another company (that we've used for years) quoted. They'll get our business from this point on.

Carlos Garcia was the technician that came to our house (at the stated time) and he was very knowledgeable, kind, professional and honest. We really appreciated such a great person to do work for us. Thank you!

HHS installed a gave us an estimate and then installed a steam humidifier. We had some issues with the Humidifier--HHS came out multiple times to fix it. The issues were with the product not the installation. I was very impressed with the service we received after installation. Everyone has always been very nice and worked hard to make the product work.

The crew showed up when promised and did a good job. The duct cleaning was done at the same time which extended the A/C install by about 2 hours but they said thats the way they always do it. The A/C installation crew was polite and cleaned up well. Gaddy Electric was easy to work with and the Utilities guy told me that he likes to work with Gaddy as they all know what they are doing. The A/C and electric inspections were passed without any problems. Both inspectors had good things to say about Home Heating and Services and Gaddy Electric. I had Gaddy Electric come back and install a whole house surge protector in my new panel.
