The gym overall is a very excellent gym but the particular establishment is not so good. The manager and staff is very customer service friendly. I’ve had problems with the infant daycare and I’ve had problems with the personal training staff. When I had a problem, it was not met with great concern or apology or anything like that. So for the price that I pay which is pretty high for a gym, they are not great. Their customer service is really lacking. Their customer service was really bad. I had cancelled swim lessons and it took it me 4 months to cancel swim lessons. It was just a nightmare and it was ridiculous. Their communication was in themselves and their communication with the clients is awful.

I like the fact that they are big enough that I can always get in use the equipment that I like to use and get back out. I also like the fact that it is not like a meat market. This place is as big as 7:20. They have two indoor pools, two huge hot tubs, a huge outdoor pool, rock climbing wall, two full size basket ball courts, day care center for children and 4-5 specialty rooms that they use for things like palates and martial arts courses and things like that. I have not had any issue with them yet.

Lifetime is expensive and the facility is beautiful. Yet lets make sure we are clear here - they aren't in business to make you happy. Their pool hours aren't family friendly, they never clean equipment, and when you you are leaving they are all to happy to pat you on the back and see you leave.
they seem to focus on upgrades (Spa, personal trainer, etc) and/or the membership fees.
I never found the place that busy, found the equipment easy to get on. The pool (outside especially) is very beautiful. I just wish they had more care for the day to day customer.

I really like it here. The place is very well equipped. They have good classes and are very well staffed. There are a lot of different activities available to both adults and kids. They even have a very large pool outside and inside as well as 2 very nice hot tubs. It is very nice and clean and they are very receptive.

I am very satisfied with their services. I just like the atmosphere; I feel motivated when I get there. I like going there. Just the membership is great because it is $2 a day. If I want to take certain classes I have to pay for them. Certain classes for fitness and stuff are included, but it seems to me like they have a lot of things that I can buy extra. That is fine, but if I want to have assistance it costs extra money. It is not too expensive, it is just something that I didn’t really know about until I started signing up for things, which is fine but it is up to the individual.

I would say only positive things. Their child care is awesome. They have a clean facility. They have state of the are equipment and offer a variety of food options there. And the pool is amazing. I will continue to use them.

I was extremely impressed with the facilities for the price, and the staff was extremely helpful signing me up. Though Lifetime advertises a "month to month" membership, you must cancel a full month in advance. I was aware of this and planned accordingly. When I needed to leave the gym for medical reasons, I contacted Bob for membership cancellation. Rather than helping me, however, he perpetually pushed a medical leave of absence on me because I had shared the nature of why I was leaving. I made it very clear I did not want to take a leave, but that I wanted a cancellation, because not only would I be unable to use the facilities for some time, but I also knew I was closing on a house that would no longer make this gym convenient for me.
Lifetime, because of poor customer service and even worse professionalism, continued to charge me. I called after the first wrongful charge appeared on my bank statement, but rather than correcting the mistake and cancelling my membership, Bob yet again tried to push a leave of absence on me, claiming "all I needed was a doctor's note." Frustrated, I then decided to show up in person after work, going out of my way to the gym that was no longer near me. I did not make an appointment, but was able to see Bob in passing: he saw me and asked if I had a doctor's note. I reiterated to him that I wanted to cancel, and he went on his way--but not before telling me to get him that doctor's note.
He consistently evaded the messages I left him, but what's maddening is that he started trying to call me during my work hours, when I was unable to answer him. There could be no purpose for his call, yet he would claim a desire to discuss my cancellation. This I found insulting, as by this point it was abundantly clear that there was nothing up for discussion. I wanted my membership canceled, my money refunded. His attempts to call me seemed to me to be no more than a ploy to, I assume, continue charging me while making it seem that he was attempting to make things right.
Now, rather than cancelling my membership, he has continued it and allowed Lifetime to charge me for multiple months. Even after changing my card information, they began sending bills to me through the mail. I refuse to pay, and rather than admitting their wrongs or trying in any way to rectify the situation, they threaten me with collections. I am still pursuing not only the cancellation, but also a refund of the money that seems to have been stolen from me.
Update October 2012: Took Lifetime to court. Their lawyers settled with me out of court. After months of harassment, I can say that I have my money back and that I will make sure Lifetime never gets any of my business again.

They are professional and they offer a lot of things. The bathrooms are really nice, there is a café, they have a spa, and it isn’t very expensive. We have a family membership.
