We had the pleasure of working with Mario, the owner of Sevenly Outdoor Living, recently, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From the moment Mario and his team took on the project of removing our old deck and building a new one, their professionalism and commitment to excellence were evident. First and foremost, Mario and Sevenly Outdoor Living stuck to their promised timeline, completing the project on time without any delays. This level of punctuality is something I greatly appreciated, as it made the entire process stress-free. Furthermore, Mario and his team were an absolute delight to work with. They were responsive, attentive to our needs, and always willing to address any questions or concerns we had along the way. Their communication and customer service truly set them apart. As for the finished product, our new deck exceeded our expectations in every way. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were impeccable. The deck is not only structurally sound but also a stunning addition to our home. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Mario is generally a nice and easy-going person. However, the quality of the work his concrete crew delivered was not satisfactory. There were several problems/defects and ultimately I now have to file a small claim and take him to court to hold him accountable. 1) They left very light but visible shoe prints and other blemishes on the concrete surface and laid down the sealant over them. 2) They didn't make the patio slab surface level with the house foundation, which means water will run toward the stairs, and likely gather there near the house foundation, instead of toward the side of the patio where it should drain. 3) They didn't wrap one of the stairs from left to right, all the way around, to join the house trim, despite the fact I gave them a drawing; instead there's a cavity on both sides and they used brown wood boards to cover. 4) They cut some joints outside of the slab's surface grooves. 5) They left pieces of the composite deck they demo'd attached to the house. 6) The turf they pulled up during the work wasn't properly reinstalled. 7) They didn't cover my house near the bottom so when they poured concrete and sprayed the surface, there's concrete and overspray on my house. 8) They gouged my screen door. After I gave him final payment (that was a mistake on my part) in good faith, I had to serve him with a formal notice of construction defects to get him to remove the left over deck parts and properly reinstall the turf (items 5, 6). He refuses to correct the rest of the defects. So, as I mentioned, I now have to file a small claim in order to get him to fulfill the contract and hold him accountable. There is a state provision/law that requires plaintiffs/claimants to serve contractors with a notice of defect that spans a minimum of 75 days before you can file a small claim. This has been an unpleasant and frustrating experience for me. Itâ s also worth noting that his concrete tradesman (his cousin) doesnâ t speak English. Mario may be good with decks but I strongly recommend you don't use him and his cousin for concrete patios.

This company is amazing! We got scammed on some landscaping from a really bad company. Alexander and his team came to save the day! They provided a very fair estimate and were out at our house to complete the job 3 days later. They finished everything in 7 hours and it looks so good. Thanks again!

Had them build a deck for me. I did all the demo myself. The owner was super attentive to my suggestions and was very knowledgeable. His crew did a very good job and kept a tidy work environment. It was hard to find a deck builder but definitely found one that I would reccomend to everyone.

Highly recommend Mario and his crew. They rebuilt 2 of my neighbors decks and mine. Great communication, always responding promptly. Mario is a true craftsman! He and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They had to completely remove an old deck and rebuild from scratch, and it turned out exactly as expected. Mario is professional and easy to work with. We have had some weather caused delays but he communicates well so you know what is happening and what the timing will be.

Mario is hands down the best contractor we've ever hired - and our new fence is amazing! We live on Green Mountain and the ground is full of rock and clay. Mario and his assistant worked so hard and somehow managed to give us a beautiful, solid fence in four days! Smiling all of the time, and such a work ethic...I have nothing but great things to say - they're so awesome!

Mario is a great carpenter, but also one of those contractors who kind and just nice to interact with. We had a custom pergola project and he tackled this with expertise and professionalism, even as I made adjustments to the project while he was working on it (sorry, Mario!). I cannot recommend Sevenly Carpentry enough.

Mario is knowledgeable, experienced, punctual, and trustworthy. He repaired 2 casement windows with crank issues. He ordered the new parts, and installed them in short order. I will recommend him to all my friends and relatives - something I rarely do! - Dave Mc.
