The overall experience was terrible! The sales contact was unresponsive, and details that the customer should know were not disclosed. We gave the company a lot of business since we had many out of town guests and their service was an embarrassment.
1) I had paid for 8 hours of limo (9 hour free) to accommodate a 9:30 PM and 11:00 return from the venue. This was clear on the order confirmation. After a report that a couple could not get on the bus for a 9:30 PM return my wedding planner and I located the bus at the far end of the parking lot. Questioning the driver he was unaware there was to be a 9:30 PM return trip. By this time it was too late for those who wanted to return at 9:30 as the bus would not make it back on time for the 11:00 PM return.
Of Concern: What was the bus doing at the far end of the parking lot? It should have been parked up at the front of the parking lot waiting for the 9:30 departures. In a phone conversation with Limo I was told the driver parked at the far end of the parking lot to avoid engine running noise being overheard at the venue. With the venue being a good half block from the front of the parking lot this is unrealistic.
One couple approached the bus and found it closed with no driver in site. So they walked back to the venue.
Bottom line is we did not get our 9:30 PM return that was paid for due to failure to communicate internally. I am looking for a credit for the missed return.
We rented a bus to take out of town guests to the venue so they would not have to worry about driving. We rented it for a full 9 hours so people had the option to leave early if they wanted. The bus driver fell asleep and failed to make an early run for guests. By the time he woke up it was too late to leave and get back in time for the last run. Then he had the audacity to lie and say that the guests changed their minds and that was the reason for the early run not taking place. I am sorry, why in the world would a group of guests walk all the way to the bus and then change their mind!!!! If we only wanted a pick up and drop off we would have only rented the thing for 3 hours, not 9. The company refuses to give us a credit even though they saved on fuel and did not even provide the service promised. We gave this company tons of business and would have recommended them to others had they just done what they were supposed to.
2) I had wanted both buses on the return to go to both hotels. The conformation for the second bus did say Hyatt only and I missed it with all the other things going on so my bad. However would it have been a big deal for the second driver to drop off at the Hyatt and save all the chaos around loading the buses? Do the drivers not have a phone contact for a supervisor they could have called to contact me and work something out. Our guests were very inconvenienced. As a customer spending a lot of money I would have expected more.
3) My Grandparents pick up was also a Fiasco. What we were failed to be informed of is that the driver cannot leave the vehicle. That would have been good to know! we would have hired someone else. The whole point was so that my Grandfather would not have to roam around a huge airport to figure out where to go. We wanted someone waiting for him with a sign. My poor grandpa got lost and turned around and the company charges wait time.
I had written in an email that I assumed the Limo Driver would stand at the baggage claim and hold a sign with the name. When the Limo driver called me he told me he could not go to baggage claim and Grandpa had to find them. I don?t know how it works with Limo?s at the airport but they had to go down the line of Limos until they found the one for them. I do give the Limo driver credit for staying in contact with me and waiting for them to find him. They said the driver was polite and friendly.
We are not unreasonable people and are not by any means asking for a refund just what was owed to us for a service that was not provided. The company was not easy to deal with.
We contracted several trips mainly from DIA to Ameristar and back, for our national convention this summer. The first limo bus broke down on the side of the highway going up the mountain to the Ameristar (we were previously assured this would not be a problem as they make this trip regularly). Another bus broke down on the way to pick up 32 of our VIP's from the golf tournament we hosted. Our golfers were stranded at the golf course for 90 minutes while they arranged for another limo bus to pick them up.
|
|I asked them to send a backup bus the morning of all the return trips to DIA in case another bus broke down, since we couldn't afford to have even one person miss their flight home. They agreed to send an extra bus that would be "on call" in case anything went wrong. Rather than sending an extra bus, they just sent one of them early - yet still charged me the full price of an entirely new bus.
|
|When I called to discuss the final payment and ask for a discount for the two buses that broke down, and for the bus they sent early yet charged for a new one all-together, they told me to read my contract as they were only obligated to get people from point A to point B, and that they never guaranteed to be on time. Since they felt they had fulfilled their contractual obligations, they agreed to give me $200 off the total bill. However they never refunded my card $200, and it's been almost 4 months and I haven't seen a check. Even if they did honor the $200 discount, that's only a 4% discount. What a joke. I will never use this company.

|We hold this event every year and would have continued to give them the business if they did well. If they wouldn't do anything for a $4,500+ client, any small trip (wedding, birthday, bachelor/bachelorette party) doesn't stand a chance if something goes wrong.

|P.S. - the only reason I gave them a C for professionalism is because the drivers were all very nice and polite. The guys at the office have horrible customer service.

"Thank you. Family owned business and we try very hard :)"
The limos both nights arrived about 15 minutes early which we appreciated. The limos were in great condition and very clean and stocked.
The first night our driver was absolutely excellent. He was friendly, plugged in and seemed to love his job. He was so professional.
The second night (the wedding day) the driver was disappointing. He was a bit rude, he was on his phone when the bride came out to the car and he did not hang up for a few minutes. Then he didn't help her get herself or her belongings into the car. He seemed like he did not want to be there.
Based on how all interactions went with this company, this second driver is definitely not the norm for them. I would use this company again and be specific about what we want in a driver.
The driver showed up on time, which was good, but right away we noticed that there was a long scratch down the
side of the limo and it appeared not to have been washed in awhile. As we couldn't ask for a different limo at this late time and knew that we were stuck, we got in the limo and immediately noticed that it was very hot inside the vehicle. We asked the driver if we could get more A/C and he said that it was on max already and that was the best he could do. My 6 year old daughter found a beer can rolling around the seats, there was a broken vent that screeched unless we stuck something (a napkin) in it, and the stereo
speakers came in and out for no apparent reason. On top of that, my brother-in-law left his sunglasses in the vehicle but they could not recover them when he called about it.
Since there was no used in complaining more that we already had - we couldn't get a replacement vehicle - we just went with it and enjoyed ourselves despite the issues. It's my dad's only 80th birthday party so we made the best of it. Our
driver, Steve, was very nice but I think he drove a really long way to get to one pick up and that ended up costing us time both ways.
I knew we were home a few minutes later than we'd planned but given the circumstances and our complaining about the issues during the ride I figured they'd let the overcharge get reversed but they were inflexible. I would not use them again.
"Denver Limo, Inc rented a Chrysler 300C limo to the member for a birthday event on 8-18-12. The limousine arrived on time. It was washed before the trip by one of our cleaners. As far as the beer can that rolled out from under the seat that would be impossible in this limo because there is no way to get under the seats in that car. Could it have been a full can that fell out of the bar? Furthermore the cleaners found no glasses inside of the limousine when it was cleaned again the next day(We are not responsible for lost items in the limo). Customer went into overtime and was charged accordingly which was stated in the signed rental agreement. As for the air conditioning I went back and checked the logs for that month and no issues were reported on any of the other 33 other trips that it was on that month or the 37 it was on the next month! You can not expect a limo to cool like a regular car. You maxed out a limousine to capacity and expected it to cool down like as if it was a regular car. 10 People squeezed in together will be very hard to cool down in a black limousine in 80-90 Degree weather. Customer is just unhappy about paying the additional overtime which they used and is finding every possible reason to get some money back. When customer was making the initial reservation Jason told her that 10 passengers will be a bit tight and he would recommend going 1 step up into the SUV limo that holds 14-16 passengers for comfort and AC reasons, but customer did not want to pay the difference in price. If the service and limousine were so horrible why this complaint almost 3 months later?"
The driver (Rafael) arrived about 10 minutes early for pickup. He was very professional, although perhaps a little jaded about driving teenagers around. He informed us that bags cannot be carried in the back of the limo because of the risk of a teen bringing alcohol. We parents assured him that these were good kids, but we appreciated the precaution and happily helped move the bags to the front seat. According to my son, the experience in the limo was a lot of fun. The car was in very good shape, the interior was clean and it was very roomy and comfortable even with 14 teenagers inside. The were taken safely between the four locations, arrived in a timely manner and were well cared for. Frankly, I can't ask for more as a parent.
We will certainly call Denver Limos again when we need limo service again.
