He communicated with us every step of the way. Chris and Ben were a joy to work with and have in our home. They both were dedicated to producing a quality product. From the moment Michael came to give me an estimate for a replacement banister, he kept me informed at every step - when the materials were ordered, when they arrived,... Chris and Ben were able to start the project more than a week earlier than scheduled. Since that fit in with my schedule, I was grateful. The work that Chris and Ben did was excellent! Their demeanor was professional, respectful, and friendly. They explained what they were going to do, what they needed from me (which was nothing except not touching the metal balusters for 24 hours) and they answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I was ecstatic over the job and friends who have seen it have all commented on how beautiful the new banister is. I would hire them in a minute if I ever have any more projects that fit in their wheelhouse.

What a great team from the owner Michael who is honest, fair and runs a great business to Chris and Ben his installers who are talented thorough and patient! Excellent cleaners..site was spotless every day. Then there is Leslie who is meticulous and will go to great lengths to ensure a perfect color and finish for your railings. All together a great experience at a fair price!

I hired Michael and his team to replace a large stairwell with new railing, balusters, newel posts, and removal. I have rental properties and have hired countless contractors over the years and know when to spot a good job. Let me start by saying Michael is as honest as it gets and we could truly trust him and his employees. That alone is hard to find these days. Top that off with the best quality work, reasonable prices, and a general caring for our project and you have a PERFECT contractor. Look no further. He gave some ideas I didnâ t think about, helped me on some things that were out of the original bid at no cost just to make sure the project was competed perfectly and punctual on every visit, If you are reading this and found Michael consider yourself lucky to have found a trustworthy and good contractor.

Michael and his crew are true professionals. They replaced an old stair rail with beautiful solid red oak wood and simple but elegant wrought iron spindles. I had a very specific style in mind and Michael patiently showed me tons of options, made a second trip with even more catalogs, and helped me find just what I was looking for. He also worked in tandem with Leslie, who came to my home no less than five times in order to get the stain color for the railings the exact color we wanted to compliment our wood floors and door frames. The install day was incredibly organized, clean, and precise. I HIGHLY recommend Michael, Chris, and Ben from Anything in Wood; they are not just great craftsmen, they are wonderful people. We have already made an appointment with Anything in Wood for woodwork on our front porch once the weather clears!

Michael was quick to respond to my finish carpentry project at our home in Aurora. We had just finished our basement, and needed to add new stair rails to complete the job. He and his team completed the job quicker than expected, and right on budget. They were professional, safe, and prompt. The craftsmanship was excellent, and we could not be more happy with the results. I would highly recommend Anything In Wood, and would certainly use them for future projects.

Even though the schedule at times was a little jumbled thanks to COVID causing issues Edith materials shipping, Michael's team at Anything In Wood was fantastic! They were super efficient at getting the work done with as little disturbance as possible (with the kids doing remote learning and us working from home). They cleaned up everything when they were done, and the nrw stairs and railing go way beyond what we envisioned! They're so beautiful! Thanks Ben, Chris, and Leslie for making this process as painless and hassle free as possible, and for doing such beautiful work! I had hired a contractor to redo my railings and he messed everything up and basically took my $ and didnâ  t finish the job. Michael, Chris and Ben came in right away and not only fixed the issues but also installed this gorgeous railing and I love it! It looks so good. I would highly recommend these guys!

We hit the jackpot with these guys! Michael, Chris and Ben delivered promise, product and customer service. I hired them to repair and replace the hand rails, balusters, stringers, trim and caps due to a bad DIY from the previous owner. They demolished and rebuilt just about everything. Chris and Ben truly had their work cut out for them with my project! We had an instant connection with Michael, the owner. He came out several times and helped us imagine what our dumpy staircase could become. He knows what looks good and what doesn't so take his advice! Chris and Ben are the ones who really made the vision come alive. I was skeptical when Chris estimated 2 days of work as I was worried about issues arising when carving off the DIY plaster on my stringers, but they had the skill and the tools to get it done within the estimated 2 days. As an aside, Chris and Ben are so polite, professional and respectful. They showed up at 9 and left between 5-6. They stayed until nearly 8pm on day 2 to get the job done so I could get my painters lined up. Once the paint and stain was done, they came back to install beautiful iron balusters, which look absolutely incredible!. At the end of each day, they did a great job of vacuuming and cleaning up the work space before they left and I am so thankful as we have a 2-year old and dogs. In conclusion, Michael, Chris and Ben are the dream team. I can't say enough good things about them, especially Chris and Ben. They work so well together and they work HARD for their clients. I am so in love with the final product! I will be calling them when we are ready to rebuild our back deck :) Fantastic job, you guys!

Very satisfied with the work. Ben and Chris removed 150 wood balusters and replace them with iron ones. They were able to do it in 8 hours. They were well organized and efficient. Cared for details and thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day . Very professional and pleasant to deal with. Michael the owner was very professional too, responded to email in no time, called when he said he would and followed up. I highly recommend this company.

Install was well above our expectations. We were talking with Michael for over a year about our project and ordering the parts from various companies was difficult but Michael was a big help with that. Great crew working for Mr Saparo. Two very courteous, polite and competent young men. The owner designed the pattern for the rails. It turned out great and we didn't have to think it to death.
