Great work very caring

They do an excellent job. My dog is large, strong and hates to have his nails cut. Mike is experienced and is able to handle the job.

We have been taking our dogs to Merri's for over 7 years and they have always done a superb job with the grooming and also letting us know if they had found anything irregular that may be of a concern to the health of our dog. We have a golden retriever and we always feel she is treated with care and always looks beautiful and smells great when we pick her up. We also used to have the sweetest rottweiler that has since passed away. Merri made a donation in his memory, she and Mike are lovely and so is their staff.

Overall, I was satisfied with the service at Merri's. I called on a weekday afternoon and was able to bring my small pug in right away. I picked her up 75 minutes later, all fresh and clean (too fragrant for my husband's taste, though). The staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with, as were the many other customers that were in the salon as I dropped off and picked up my dog. Later, though, after inspecting my dog more closely, I noticed a few problems: 1) they neglected to clean her wrinkle, which for a pug is essential. 2) One of her nails was bleeding a little bit, and the nails on her front paws were not cut. She is difficult about her nails, but I feel that they should have let me know. 3) One of her ears was really itchy and had to be cleaned again in the middle of the night. I might go back in a pinch if my regular groomer couldnt take her, but next time I will ask them to pay closer attention to her needs.

I think they are fabulous. This is the best place for this kind of work. The Collie comes all dirty, and it's very hard for me to groom it because things have to be carefully taken out. They are wonderful at that.
