G&C AutoBody - Windsor

I greatly appreciated the fact that Gand C was willing, where possible, to repair the damaged body of my truck rather than simply replacing the damaged sections as most auto body shops do. This was at least a 25% savings to me. Good quality work. But Gand C had problems keeping delivery date promises, so took 2.5 days longer. Manager overruled offer by employee to provide a loaner car for delay.

Jeff (the manager at G and C Auto Body in Windsor, CA) went above and beyond in service - I had a very positive experience, from Ali greeting me and being totally responsive when I first entered their office to Jeff actually filling the gas tank on the rental for me! I hadn't had time to stop at a service station to get gas before the deadline to return the rental car, and didn't have cash (being a debit card user). I was totally prepared to pay the extra $$ in gas when I returned the rental car; Jeff actually sprang for the gas! This is on top of doing beautiful can't-tell-anything-was-ever-wrong body work at a fair price, including painting/smoothing over a few small scratches that had been there before. This was covered by insurance; I did have to pay a deductible, but the price for the work was definitely right, from shopping other body shops. I was kept informed by both Ali and Jeff of progress on the body work, and it was finished on schedule. I'd certainly recommend this shop and would return in the future.
