Was easy to communicate with, i.e returned phone calls and emails promptly. No hidden charges. His crew and supervisors were prompt , courteous and meticulous. They left the job site in good order. Put in extra hours where needed. Would highly recommend this contactor. All his insurance and certificates in order.

Matt came, assessed the work to be done, gave a price. We did not call any other drywall company so I have no idea if his fees are comparable to others. His staff came and fixed it. They painted the entire ceiling, including the kitchen and breakfast area so it would all blend. It looked good but after it dried, maybe a few days, the seam became visible again and there were areas where the paint was not evenly applied. I called Matt and told him what happened. He promptly came back and re-assessed. He had his staff fix what needed fixing. The two men he sent to our home were prompt, polite, and knew their job. I am very happy with the work they did.

This is my 2nd experience with them & my 2nd review. The first time they "floated" an asbestos ceiling in 1 room. Had them back a few months later to do ceilings in rest of house. Very reliable, did a great job, cleaned up nicely afterward. Would definitely hire them again.

Honestly, I can't remember the exact price so the price I quoted might not be totally accurate but I neglected to post the review at the time and the guy definitely deserves a good one.  Matt was great, easy to work with, fair on the money and his guys were awesome.  Garage looks great.  Great dude.  No complaints.

The 2 man team came early & knocked it out by 3:30 the same day. Looks beautiful! Well worth the expense & timed saved.

Clark Drywall did a great job in elementing our popcorn ceiling (see previous review for details).  We asked Matt Clark to give us an estimate on patching all the wall cracks and then to paint the interior in one color.  
Matt came up with a great plan -- he had two of his drywall experts come to the house two days before the painting crew.  The drywall team fixed all the stress cracks around the doors and windows.  They actually replaced the drywall which had cracked  -- they didn't just paster over the cracks.  The team also sanded and prepped for the painters.  They also replaced the floor moulding and installed new electrical outlets and replaced the old a/c registers.  This really freshened and updated the house. 
The painting crew came in on Saturday and finished the entire job by Sunday afternoon.  I work from home and really appreciated the fact that Matt Clark and his team were able to do the painting on the weekend -- so i didn't miss any work.
The painting team was amazing -- so professional and pleasant -- they moved all the furniture and protected the floors.  The paint is flawless and we LOVE the result.  They reconnected all the televisions, rehung all the pictures and turned the house back to us in pristine condition.
I highly recommend Clark Drywall -- Matt is professional and he makes sure he and his team is delivering quality drywall and painting.  I cannot believe how little inconvenience we had -- they are great to work with -- you can't go wrong with Clark Drywall!

Working with Matt Clark and his team is probably one of the best home improvement experiences we have had.  Matt really listened to what we wanted -- he provided samples so we could understand what the finished result would look like.  He was always prompt and his team is very professional and easy to work with.
We wanted to cover the popcorn ceilings throughout our house.  We considered both drywalling over the ceilings and called Clark Drywall.  Matt came out and suggested we could basically skim the ceilings with compound and paint.  After comparing Matt's suggestion with other drywall companies -- we were concerned that drywalling over the ceilings would lower the ceiling height, as well a look odd around the tops of the kitchen cabinets.  Also, the cost and timeline for Matt's recommendation was much more comfortable for us.
So basically, Matt and his team arrived as scheduled on a Thursday at 8am.  They draped the entire inside of the house in plastic -- covering everything.  They prepped and skimmed the ceiling completely on Thursday.  Friday they checked on how the compound was drying, and repaired a large section of drywall  the previous owners had improperly installed (at no extra cost!).  Saturday they painted the ceilings, including the kitchen ceiling at no extra cost just to make sure it matched.
The huge job took only 3 days start to finish.  Drywall installation was quoted to me by other companies as a week to 10 days.  I will warn you though -- we stayed in a local hotel.  It is too crazy to try to live in your house while this is going on.  So we got a little vacation to boot!
 I highly recommend Clark Drywall for your home improvement/repair project.  He and his team are highly skilled and focused on meeting your expectations.  And Matt is a fun guy to work with -- while being very detailed oriented at the same time!  You can't go wrong in hiring Clark Drywall!

I got the quote in February but wasn't able to do until this month. Matt got me in within 2 weeks. I was concerned because my daughter has asthma and I needed this to be clean. We left at 7am and by the time I got home at 5 it was completely clean. I had stopped by during my lunch and they were working hard. The ceilings looked fantastic. Waited 2 days and had them painted. We are thrilled with the results. Matt and his team were professional, punctual and very good at their job. Pics attached are before, during and after.

We are very happy with our repair. Matt Clark scheduled a prompt estimate and all repairs were completed within the time he provided us. His team took made an extra effort to minimize debris caused by the repair from tracking throughout our house. Matt personally stopped by twice to check on the progress and inspect the final product. He made sure we were happy with the work. I would use him again for a future project.

Matt was incredibly responsive, on time, helpful and meticulous in their finish work. They understood that my wife and I keep a very clean house and that drywall dust would be a major issue. They completely and securely masked off all areas for work to ensure that nothing leaked outside the space. They cleaned up everyday. The work was perfect and prepped for pain. At the end of the project even Matt, the owner, was on his hands and knees applying wood floor cleaner to our floors to make sure it was left even better than he found it. We very very pleased and will definitely use him again for additional work

I will not claim that I have had a lot of experience dealing with a lot of drywall companies nor contractors for that matter.  This much I will say though:  I have had many business dealings in different fields and if there is one word that would describe my experience with Clark Drywall, that word would be "flawles."

From the time that he came over and did an estimate, he was able to identify things that was missed by others.  His attention to detail was impressive.  On the scheduled day of the job, they started on time and finished much sooner than estimated.  The job was excellent; as if nothing had happened.

From estimate to completion Matthew and his crew did an outstanding job.  Arrived on time ( 7 am ) on a Thursday with a crew of seven, moved furniture, prepped the entire house and even ran the protective plastic outside and down the walkway. He brought all the right equipment to deal with vaulted (18 ft) ceilings.   They completed the scraping, texturing and cleanup by 3:30 that afternoon. The only sign that they had been there was the lack of popcorn and moist ceilings which were left to dry from Thursday afternoon until Saturday morning at 7 am  when Matthew returned with his painters.
The paint crew laid down plastic and prepped the area in a similar manner to the scraping crew, they applied a coat of of KILZ like primer and a coat of Dunn Edwards Whisper White paint to the now dry ceiling. They cleaned up and put all my furniture back by 2:30. They even moved my 200 lb. exercise machine upstairs to it's new home.  ( Don't tell them I told you that ! )  
The products they used did not leave any noxious odor in their wake so I spent every night at home during the period the work was being completed.  No overnight hotel stays!
Matthew and his crew did such a great job that I have hired him to do some work at my studio facility in the media district in Glendale, CA. 
So far I am batting a thousand with the contractors I have hired from Angie's list referrals.  This membership has paid for itself many times over.  Best bang for the buck and none of the nightmares I've experienced on occasion before Angies list came into existence.

Matt was responsive and professional from the jump. He made an effort to consult and provide an estimate very quickly after my initial call. Whether through phone calls, emails or text messages he was quick to answer and was always cheerful and helpful. His business presence inspires confidence, and his business practices are in sync with the impression he makes. His work crews are skilled, polite, and good-natured. Removing an acoustic ceiling is unspeakably messy but the workmen left no trace of the job inside or outside my home. The finished job makes me happy every time I look up at my flawless white ceilings.

They did a really good job. I actually called them back for a second job because he was on time and was really clean. Drywall is a really dirty job and he was very clean. He did just what I asked him to do. I was happy to use him. He was a bit expensive, he wasn't the cheapest estimate I've had.

Matt and his team were extremely considerate and did a wonderful job.  They arrived on time and carried out the job in an efficient and professional manner.   Matt even went to the trouble of having his guys come back the next day to take care of something else for me.  He is definitely a "customer comes first"  kind of guy.

Good quality work all around, kept the work area very clean, and completed the work at a fair price. Employees are very attentive and responsive.

I turned my garage into an office.  My carpenter didn't feel confident putting in the drywall ceiling.  I called Matt, (I found his company on Angie's List) we agreed to a price.  Matt and his team came the following week, on time, exactly as agreed.  Matt's workers were ultra neat and very polite.  The job took one and one-half days.  Matt came several times to oversee the work.  The ceiling is beautiful.  I couldn't be happier.

They worked long and hard at it.  In the end the result was beautiful.  Can't tell where the holes were in the ceiling and walls. I would use them again for sure.
