In short: Avoid these guys.
The worst of all worlds: Arrogant, rude and condescending (Owner: David), and their work is overpriced and sometimes has errors. Difficult to get things redone because the arrogant owner doesn't stop talking for a minute to actually listen to the customer.
So, when you leave their store, you feel ripped off and annoyed, like, "Why did I pay to be argued with?"
Lousy service, I switched to Santa Monica Lock and Safe at 2208 Pico. A lot further for me to drive, but these Santa Monica guys are great: quality work, with no attitude, at a reasonable price.
I've actually had to have work from Advance redone in Santa Monica, and come to find out that Santa Monica Lock & Safe does some of Advance's back room work!
Anyhow, avoid Advance Lock & Key.
