Great service

Good experience from start to finish. We called the night before, and within 12 hours our dryer was repaired, even noticed another problem we weren't aware of and repaired it free of charge. Would work with them again in a heartbeat.

The owner of the company, Vitaliy, came to do the repair work. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and explained in detail what the problem was and how it was going to be repaired. He also made some suggestions on ways to avoid problems in the future. One of the replacement parts had to be ordered, but he returned a few days later to complete the work.

The work was done by the owner. He is polite, well-educated, respectful, and prompt. His prices are fair. He checked the appliances thoroughly to be sure we really needed to replace the motors. At no extra charge, he also lubricated our washing machine in an attempt to put off more expensive repairs. He took great care not to damage floors and counters. I would trust him to repair any of our appliances. We think he is a real find. This was the first time we've ever been fully satisfied with appliance repair. I highly recommend his work.

Our dishwasher was leaking from the door onto the kitchen floor. I checked out Angie's List and, based on their high number of "A" ratings, called Lerman Appliances. We made an appointment for Saturday morning between 11:00am and 1:00pm. On Saturday at 10:55am, Vitaliy, the firm's owner arrived ready to take a look at the leaking appliance. After taking the door apart, Vitaliy showed me a small rubber gasket that needed to be replaced. Although parts for this older dishwasher are no longer manufactured, Vitaliy let me know he had the part on his truck. About 15 minutes later, he replaced the gasket and showed me that the dishwasher no longer leaked. My wife and I were very pleased with Vitaliy's service. The work was efficiently done and the price, which included a 20% Angie's List labor discount, was fair. We would call Lerman Appliances again if needed.

They were on time and came in to assess the stove. He said he would need to find the part and if found could come back within 3 days to repair. He called the next day to say he had the part and would be able to repair that same day. We could not accomodate that but had them come the following day.

We had a very good service and we're very pleased with them. We took them off of Angie's List. It was a little expensive but it was right before Christmas. I thought of buying a new one. It was a very good stove and it was put in when the house was brand new, years ago. Their service was good and they showed up when they said they were going to. They came, did the work and so far we're having good luck with it. I would use them in future, if needed.

Very pleased with the service. Mr.Lerman came out the afternoon of the day I called, Wednesday, diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and ordered the part. The younger Mr. Lerman returned Friday with the part, and completed the job. They responded the same day they were called, were prompt within the 2 hour window they gave me and were pleasant and courteous. The dryer is working fine. I think the price is reasonable. It seems to be in line with other appliance repairs I've had done in the past.

He was on time and very knowledable. However, for a 5 minute job I thought he was quite expensive. He finally gave me an additional $10. off because I kept mentioning Angie's List. But he certainly knew what was wrong and how to fix it and he arrived on time. So I would use him again.

I highly recommend Lerman Appliances for their responsiveness and professionalism. They responded very quickly to my service call and the gentleman who came out to give me an estimate was very polite. He apologized that the part was going to cost so much, but pointed out it was still far cheaper than a new machine. When I told him to go ahead with the repair, he apologized that it might be an entire day until he could get the part. He gave me the estimate Monday afternoon and told me it would be Tuesday afternoon or at the very worst Wednesday morning until he could have the part in and be able to replace it. I said fine. He then called me later that same afternoon, told me he had been able to get the part faster, and could he come back that same evening to fix the washer? I was thrilled at how quickly the repair was made and that he made the extra effort to get my machine working again as soon as possible. When he returned to do the actual repair, he had a second gentleman with him. Both were unfailingly polite, requesting old towels to soak up the water on the floor, and then asking where I would like the wet towels placed so they didn't damage the floor! Very professional and easy to work with and get along with.

I had a really good experience with Lerman Appliance. It seems like a small operation, but they were very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. Both my oven and dishwasher are about 15 years old, and these repairs extended their life.

Arrived on time, had the appropriate part to do the repair in the first visit, was careful while handling our stove, made the repair in minutes, and answered our questions thoroughly. We suspected our stove might be slightly off (too high) with the temperature; he checked that with a meter for us and confirmed the stove is about 25 degrees higher than it reads. We discussed how to compensate for that, and he offered to return to replace the sensor if we wanted, at no labor charge. Price seemed a little high, but was better than buying a new stove!

He came when he said he would, got to work, fixed my problem and charged me a very reasonable price. I have already recommended him to some friends. I will definately call him next time an appliance breaks!

They came to assess the problem, ordered the necessary part and came back to install the next day, working it our with my schedule both times. I was very impressed. Good service like it used to be in the old days.

I couldn't be happier. I knew we needed a new timer for our clothes dryer and I e-mailed them asking the cost. They promptly e-mailed back asking the model and serial number, which I provided, and they gave me an estimate. We scheduled an appointment for the next day and Vitaliy and his son arrived promptly, were extremely courteous, explained everything they were doing, and even resolved another problem we were having with the dryer (it wasn't getting hot enough) with a simple fix. (An unscrupulous repairman would have told me we needed a new heating element). I will absolutely use them again.

They were very prompt in returning my call with a time they could come out. They did a good job. I would absolutely use them again.

Monday before Thanksgiving and our oven stops working. When I called they wanted very specific model numbers and details of problem so that they could make sure they had all the possible parts they would need with them to avoid multiple trips. Knowing how important an oven is during Thanksgiving week they were willing to come out at 8:00pm that night for no extra charge.They were very prompt, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Then they spent a few minutes talking to us about how we use the appliance and gave us several suggestions of things to do to prolong the life of the appliance. I'd reccommend them in a heartbeat

Start to finish, the whole visit took a little more than an hour. Vitaliy and his assistant Val, were very courteous and professional. They advised me to run a cleaning cycle without clothing in the machine to remove any dirt left in the tub. That worked great. I am a happy customer and I would recommend this company to anyone.

They came out and fixed my dishwasher the same day I called, in time to get it up and running again for Thanksgiving!! Outstanding service and responsiveness!!

I've forgotten the gentlemen's names, but a father & son came out & investigated the problem with my Sub-Zero freezer. They cleaned the condenser & the melted remains from my freezer. They also gave me a very good deal as I was unprepared for the normal cost of cleaning. I now know that it's a good idea to maintain your fridge & not just wait until a problem arises. They were polite and professional and tidy. I would definitely recommend them to friends and will use them again if the need arises.

When I called, I explained that our trash compactor was jammed and that the door was 2" ajar. It would neither open nor close and we were unable to budge it. Ilya said that they were familiar with compactors and quoted a reasonable for a service call. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Ilya and Valen arrived within the 2 hour window and went right to work. It was a complex project in that they had to disassemble the unit to remove it from its niche in order to get to the problem. They did not give up. They were very patient and worked carefully to get to the solution. They were careful to request towels to protect our hardwood floors and counter tops. They were conscious about keeping things clean and tidy too. The Lerman family will be my go-to guys for all appliances in the future.

The repairman arrived on time, explained what was wrong and provided an estimate for the completion of the repair. He did not have the part with him so we rescheduled the final repair the next day. Once again he was on time and repaired the dryer within minutes. I found the company to be very trustworthy and reliable. I would highly recommend them again.

I am very impressed with Lerman Appliances. They answered the phone early Sunday morning, had a technician come over a few hours later, fixed my fridge, are reasonably priced (even before the Angie's List discount), and didn't charge me extra for looking at my other appliances. The repair went great. It was very convenient for us, considering it was a refrigerator issue and a Saturday morning we were surprised that the company sent someone so quick. The price was very reasonable and the technician knew exactly where to look to figure out the problem very fast. I will definitely call this company again and refer them to all my friends.
