The movers came on time and worked well throughout the day. Perry, the owner & operator, spent some time with me before the move explaining the various fees and costs of the move and everything was agreed upon. Everything was wrapped exceptionally well and moved well except for a cabinet that was dropped, which was damaged, but it was a very inexpensive cabinet so I did not make to much of a fuss about the damage. They moved and unloaded at least 5 to 6 rooms full of furniture and the workers did a terrific job, moving the furniture where we wanted it in our new home. I was impressed with the quality of the move and Perry was very accommodating up until the time we were to settle on the bill. I was explained in detail that there would not be any hidden charges on the bill before the move. When I was presented a bill there was a $60 fuel surcharge that was not explained to me before. Also I wanted make sure his workers were tipped for their hard work and explained to them their tip was included in our credit card payment. That is when things got ugly, Perry stormed around enraged because of our communicating to his workers that they were to receive their tip through the credit card payment. I am not sure why, but I am glad he left soon after because I felt very uncomfortable with his inexplicable behavior. I did not want things to turn worse so I paid the extra fuel charges so they could all leave before things got out of hand. If you are going to use Galaxy I would recommend that you get a detailed quote in advance of all the charges. Perry did not keep his word to me about the charges and his behavior was inexcusable and unprofessional, but the move itself was very good and his helpers worked very hard to make us happy.
