My chimney was fairly dirty and they did a great job cleaning it.  They were very clean and left my house without any mess.  I have white carpet so I was worried that it was going to get really dirty.  Very happy with job, no complaints.  Recommended.

I called them to clean the dryer line because I knew it was not working correctly. They then stated the line that was originally installed was not legal. He was great and really helped us. He was prompt and professional.

They were responsive and professional but the gentleman was also supposed to send me an estimate of repairs I needed that we never received. So, we bought a house and the first chimney repair place gave us two options... a one-year-warranty repair for about $5500 or a ten-year-warranty job for $9800.  I felt we needed a second opinion so called The Chimney Sweeper.  They came out and did (another) video inspection and said they could fix everything that was wrong for no more than $1700. 
Chimney Sweeper was not pushy about the video impection.  (Of course, we are all waiting for the day that the video equipment that these chimney places use is nothing special, has paid for itself 20 times over and they just automatically do it without it costing anymore... but having said that, The Chimney Sweeper seemed to be in line price-wise with everyone else.)  I think it was around $250 but wouldn't swear to it.  But they applied $150 or so to the work being done.
The guy (Dan Wilson) did both the initial inspection and the actual repair work.  Low key, not much of a BS-er.  He kept everything very clean, was on time... good guy.

The service provided by this company was excellent throughout, from the arranging of the appointment through the process of fireplace and dryer vent cleaning. Josh was punctual and very efficient in his approach to the work as well as very personable and responsive to questions which I had regarding what materials are the cleanest and safest to use for fires in order to best maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the chimney. I recently purchased a home and was told by the home inspector that I should have my chimney undergo further inspection.  I called The Chimney Sweeper to come out, sweep the chimney and provide an estimate for repairs.  Scheduling the initial appointment was easy and hassle-free.  Jerry showed up for our appointment on time,  cleaned my chimney and provided me with reasonable estimates for a chimney crown repair, a new chimney cap and new coating for the interior of my chimney (parge coat repair).  He explained each repair in detail, showing me photographs that he had taken on the both the interior and exterior of the chimney and outlining what should and needed to be done to bring my fireplace and chimney to code standards. After meeting with two other chimney repair companies, I selected The Chimney Sweeper to complete the repairs.  In addition, I requested information on installing a new fyre glass fireplace system.  Josh arrived on time for our scheduled appointment, covered my floors and furniture and immediately got to work.   He explained what work he was going to complete and showed me photographs of the exterior cap and crown repairs when he was done and everything looked great.  The fyre glass system is absolutely beautiful.  I would highly recommend The Chimney Sweeper.  Their team of professionals, both in the office and in the field, are friendly and willing to answer any and all questions.  Thank you!

No matter who you pick, do your homework online. If you need relining, google the good, the bad, and the ugly - ALL about it.If you bought a new house and got an inspection and it comes out iffy, consider hiring a specialty company like The Chimney Sweeper to have it re-inspected. 

They also put in a new chimney cap and threw in something else (I can't remember all the names of things - but I did at the time (per the above advice!). They threw in what another company wanted to charge $80 for,

He was going to give us an estimate but we never heard from him again.  He seemed quite knowledgeable and helpful but we never heard from him.
