About us

Barbarian Barbell is a non-profit USA Weightlifting club. We provide Olympic Weightlifting instruction for the snatch, clean & jerk, and supplementary strength lifts in a fun, disciplined and supportive environment. Whether you are just learning how to lift or are looking to compete at the highest levels, we've got you covered! We are located in Van Nuys, California inside a 15,000 sqft facility that is also home to VCF Athletics, Iron Pile Powerlifting, and Breaking Parallel Pilates. Our facility is a 2020 USA Weightlifting Community Development Training Site. We have 10 training platforms and 2 dedicated jerk stations.
