Description of Work: Northern California Roofing has worked on my roof twice in the past five years at a total of $8,000. Although the work performed recently was excellent I needed to request the workman to do the job by name. The workmen who started the major repairs five years ago were placed at my request do to poor workmanship. I recommend that you be present to watch the job and demand corrective action if you're not satisfied

Description of Work: They replaced the roof of my mother's house.

Description of Work: They put down a new layer of roofing material on a section of our roof to repair a leak. We haven't had any rain to speak of since then so we can't tell the effectiveness of the repair for sure, but it looks good. |The only glitch was in the pre-work on-site inspection. We had an appointment, he called last minute to change it, which I could not get back for, so he inspected the roof on his own. What I did not get to show him was the location of the leak evidence inside the house to be sure he would be dealing with the same leak that had left a stain on the ceiling inside. From his description of the location of what he saw as a problem, it didn't sound like the same place. However, he said his work would solve any problem in the area I was concerned about as well. |We received the bill for completed work while I thought we were still waiting to re-schedule his coming to look. I found out later my husband had accepted the bid without telling me. So, the work was done promptly, and rain, when it comes, will tell if it was done well.

Description of Work: The first time I called they didn't call me back for a week. I had to call again to find they lost my info. They made an appointment for an estimate and arrived on time but I still haven't gotten the estimate returned and it's been a week. I was told 2-3 days. When I told the estimator that I was already skeptical about his company, he said "Well, it's up to you, use us or not!" I was shocked at that reply. Not professional.

Description of Work: I called Northern Calif. Roofing to have my gutters cleaned. They sub-contract out to Northern Calif. Seamless Gutters. I looked them up on the Calif. Contractor's License Board and saw that their license has been suspended due to failure to comply with worker's compensation. I think Northern Calif. Roofing should have known this before recommending them. I did not contact No. Calif. Seamless Gutters, needless to say.
