JMK Garage Door Service is now proud to be part of the Besser Garage Doors family! We are a family-owned and operated business established in 1980. We are a full-service garage door company that offers sales, service, repairs, and installation of residential and commercial overhead doors and door openers. We have a showroom where you can see various door styles and purchase parts (please call for availability) We also employ our own technicians, and never contract piece work. We provide installations and repairs.

Purchased $79 offer for my daughter who recently bought her first house.  The garage door had gotten off the track and was unable to use the garage door opener.  Garage door is extremely heavy and we were unable to get it back on ourselves.
JMK contaced me right away to schedule the appointment.  Louis showed up a few minutes early and got right to work on getting the door back of the tracks.  This was a $60 charge that I agreed to over the phone prior to the appointment.
During the tune-up Louis pointed out the 2 springs were starting to show  wear and tare and the stress this heavy door might be putting on it and just to keep an eye on them.  This was not presented as a sales pitch at all, just FYI.  I was the one who initiated more questions of the benefit of replacing them now vs later.  I decided to replace these for my daughter to help her out.  The charge was $185 to replace the two springs. Louis completed the tune-up and replaced all the rollers.
I was more than happy with the service and quality of work JMK and Louis provided and would use them again.

It went great. Luis showed up and was done in under an hour. He replaced the wheels, adjusted the spring and sensors. Overall a great experience. I will be using them in the future. Fantastic job.

Second time I'm used this company for garage door related work.  Old opener died, I purchased a new replacement unit and was doing a self install when I determined I couldn't use the old hangers as they didn't account for the additional length of the new opener. I soon found out my sciatica has a strong dislike for working overhead to reposition  the hangers.  Time to call in the pros, JMK Garage Doors of Upland, CA. John met my requested price, work date and time while on the phone with him.  He arrived a few mins early and he along with a helper quickly went to work.  Forty-Five mins later the project was completed to my satisfaction. Yes, I will definitely  refer him to others for any and all garage door related work.  (A couple other door companies I called were not interested in a "finish the job" type work. I can see their point, and I know John would have preferred that in this case, so I'm very great full he took on this job.)

Luis, the installer, showed up on the clock! He took out both doors. Put the extra pieces around the sides and top of the doors' opening. Installed the doors and the new opener. He cleaned everything hauling the old doors away. He was very polite and efficient.
We are very pleased with our new doors and the almost noiseless opener. Thank you JMK!

Some bolts and a bracket were torn from one of the panels of my garage door.  The repair technician put in a new piece of steel and rebolted the bracket and now the door works perfectly.  The price ended up being less than the estimate.

Good honest people who know their stuff.  I called for service and they troubleshot with me over the phone.  They recognized a common problem with the sensor lights and told me how to adjust, fix it.  They saved me $100+.  When I do have to replace the door, they are definitely getting the sale.

It went perfect.  I called the day before and dthey said they could be there between 8 and 9 AM.  He showed up
at 8:05 AM and recommended a sscrew driven opener.  He said he would be finished in 45 mins.  He was correct.
He was very professional and we were very pleased.

Called JMK Garage Doors in the morning and scheduled a repair for my ailing garage door for THE SAME DAY between 12 noon and 2 p.m.  My service man showed up at about 11:50 a.m.  He quickly diagnosed my garage door issues (broken spring and a 20+ year old opener that was on its last leg) and within 1 hour all the items were fixed/installed.  He also programmed my car to sync with the garage door so I could use the car manufacturer opener feature.  And, as he was leaving I casually asked about a Keyless Entry device - how do they work, where can I get one and how much should it cost me.  Louis had one in hi struck, installed it in 2 minutes and DID NOT CHARGE ME for it.  I would highly recommend JMK Garage Doors.  Very Professional.

They were excellent and professional. It was a close call with another company but I ended up using J M K Garage Doors. My husband liked their owner who was an older gentleman who really knew his owner. Their offer and proposal was very professional. The only reason we went with them is because the owner brought a bunch of different hardware and showed us some differences. We had some stuff that we could actually look at; so my husband felt that he liked their personal better. The owner’s name is John Kinney. They did an excellent job on the carpentry work. We had to have a lot of carpentry work done because of the structure of the way the doors were installed. They brought wood and they redid the frame on the garage, and it was very professionally done. When my painter came and did the painting, he also said that they an excellent job on the carpentry work. They provide good personalized service. Everything that we asked the owner, he knew the answer to that question and he seemed very experience. They even came early for the appointment both on the estimate and the day they did the service. They called and said that they were on their way and would be here in a half hour.

I called for myself and also for my client. I am a Realtor. She had a broken spring on a 3 car garage, and I wanted a routine service done on my own garage door opener.  They may have called her. I never heard from them.
