JLG Roofing

.Jorge Gil, owner of JLG roofing, did an outstanding, professional job.  He and his workers were punctual and accommodative.  They were neat and did a thorough cleanup each day before leaving.  They put plastic over the pool and items in the garage and attic and then swept up and vacuumed afterward.
This was a big job as the prior roof had some rotted boards that needed to be replaced.  It took a little over a week, not counting downtime while waiting for the homeowners' association's approval for the roof structure change.  The result is a beautiful roof that can now support solar panels should we want to install those.  
There was one incident where one of the men accidentally stepped through the master bedroom ceiling--possibly through rotten wood.  The hole in the ceiling was covered up and the bedroom vacuumed immediately.  The foreman then called Joel Castro from JC's Professional Painters  (an Angie's List A-Lister) and the next day the ceiling was patched perfectly.
Jorge is not one of those hands-off contractors.  He worked alongside his men for much of the time while managing at least one other roofing job in Ventura or Santa Barbara County.  His people are proud of the work they do.
Jorge was actually recommended to me by Joel Castro of JC's Professional Painters (above), who spotted the rotted roof wood after I called him out to give me an estimate for painting the house.  I knew Joel was a perfectionist as a painter, so I trusted his judgement and am very glad I did.  I would not hesitate to recommend Jorge L. Gil's JLG Roofing.

JLG Roofing did a good job and were inexpensive. They had the lowest price. It was half of the price of other prices. Another guy I was getting a quote for actually told me JLG's owner used to work for him and that he's a good guy. He did a fine job.They put up three layers of material on the roof. It looked like a good job. It wasn't a big roof. It was a little tiny garage roof. He was the lowest price and did a great job. He was responsive. He was right there.
