The last time he build a fence between my house and a neighbor's home. He gave us design optiions (medal vs. wood posts, lumber quality, etc.) and advised us on quality and cost issues. Once we had made our decisions, he come everyday and worked full days until it was finished. After he had gotten about 1/2 of the fence up, my neighbor decided that he wanted the medal posted framed so that they didn't show. Ed gave us an estimate which we accepted and then he finished building the fences and painting it with a sealer. He also fixed my front door, and poured a cement walkway to my backyard. He was reliable, flexible, creative, and cost conscious.
Description of Work: Ed has done all kinds of work for me. He has repaired sheet rock, rewired a house fan, put in ceiling lights, build a wood frame for a mirror in my bathroom. Most recently, he build a fence. My neighbor liked him so much he hired him to do the fence on the other side of his yard. He is very commited to doing high quality work, cleaning up after himself, and keeping costs down. The other thing I liked is as a former home builder, he has good suggestions about how to solve and design home improvement problems.
