He was able to replace an older R-22 unit with a new one that was compatible with my HVAC system. He was very professional and stands behind his work.

He did a remarkable job. It was real short notice and he was willing to go down and pick up the unit within the next day and even install it within two days. We were going out of town and it works wonderful. On top of that he threw in a thermostat because the other didn't quite match with his. We were happy with it.

My 22 year old "dual-package" A/C unit on my roof needed a new compressor. Since the furnace is also part of the unit we decided it would be better to replace everything rather than fixing the AC side only to have the furnace parts fail later. The initial meeting went well and the bid was good compared to others I had gotten. The first mistake I made was signing a 0% for 1 year finance deal. This essentially paid them completely up front and caused me to have little leverage later. The installation went ok, the crane didn't drop the unit through my roof, and the duct testing went well although the installers used a package of my shingles since they had none. Then things turned bad. I endured 2 months of phone tag and unreturned calls trying to arrange my permit finalization. When the city inspector came, West Coast was nowhere to be found. The inspector had to visually inspect since the contractor is supposed to provide a ladder, etc. So fine, at least it passed inspection but then it rained. We didn't know anything was wrong until a 3 foot square of our ceiling fell into our hallway where our 5 year old was just walking. After cleaning up the mess of water, insulation, and who knows what else, I managed to get the West Coast owner back out to see what happened. He spent more time on the roof with patching compound proclaimed everything better. He did offer to have someone fix the ceiling but after seeing how much they know about roofs I will not be letting them do anything else. I continued having a leak from the new AC so we had another roofing company look at it. They confirmed what we already knew, we need a new roof but he also said the leak was caused from the A/C unit flashing was not stitched in with the existing shingles correctly. Do not let these people anywhere near your roof AC unit!

I had estimates from several companies and their pricing was the cheapest. They were professional and responsive. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.
