THOMASVILLE HOME FURNISHINGS

What first drew me to them was their name. I have Thomasville cabinets in my kitchen and love them. THOMASVILLE HOME FURNISHINGS STORE was having a sale so I thought I would check out their furniture. Nice enough. That's not the problem. There so called designers are old, unhelpful, and honestly need to retire. Don't have anything good to say about the manager of the store either. I purchased the dining room furniture first. All good except I needed to return one piece. It was too large for area it was supposed to go in. This is where the nightmare began. "We can't take anything back". I said why not? You should have helped me with the sizing better. Not my fault. Next thing they said was . "You will have to find another piece of furniture for exchange only". I said okay fine. I started looking around and getting more quotes for other things. All supposed to be 25% off . This is where I found out they were charging me any amount they wanted to make their profit come out the way they wanted it to. Price for an item never was the same twice. At this point I did not trust them. Got a bad feeling. I said I want my money back . They took a big chunk out of it and gave me back about 60% . At this time Thomasville did not have prices in their catalogs. Now they do have set prices. the furniture I purchased and thought I was getting 25% off? Never happened. I now can see that the prices I paid were just their normal prices. They raised the prices 25% for the sale and then lowered them 25% and the customer thinks they are getting it at a great sale price. Totally dishonest. Family owned business. I will never step foot in there store again.

They did a great job. It was of a perfect size, elegant, right color and made really well. I thought they were worth their price. I would definitely use them in the future.
