We were displeased with their service, which seemed to grow worse over the years, but it's moot because they've stopped servicing individual homes anyway.

Arturo truly loves trees and supervised the project from start to finish. It is brilliant!

So Cal’s tree trimming crew showed up on time and did a professional job of reducing / shaping the tree canopy height to meet the City’s requirements. All dead branches were removed and the tree looks great!

Jason came over and went through what we needed and talked to us about what would work best. We agreed to a price and they did the work based on some rough sketches we had. The overall project took three days. The work was excellent and they conferred with us frequently to make sure we were in agreement. We would use the company again.

They are the best. This is the second job they have done for us. Very professional and very good at letting you know the time frame. Add ons are never a problem. I love this company and would recommend to everyone!

We had an open canvas in our backyard that needed a professional. Troy got back to me right away and was able to send Jason out on a Saturday so that he could meet with both my husband and I. Jason spent his time going over his ideas and helped us understand what would be cost efficient for us. Once we got the quote, we decided we wanted to add a Decomposed Granite path to minimize the amount of grass. Jason came back out and made sure all measurements were accurate. Since we were investing a bit of money into the yard, we did spend some time going back and forth over email asking for different plants and trying to figure out the perfect tree for us. I never felt like I was bothering them and they were happy to help us get it right. We decided to so with a border of drought resistant plants, an area of Pea Gravel, sod, and a pathway of Decomposed Granite. When it came time for the job to be done, the guys arrived and got right to work. It took about 5 days for the job to get done but I felt like everything was done thoughtfully and with purpose. Jason would stop by from time to time to give me an update. On the final day, Jason spent his time laying out the plants and telling me why they were there and how they would grow. Once they were planted, he set my sprinklers AND is going to come back in a couple weeks to set them again! There is one plant that I would like to be moved 6 inches over the to the left and he is going to send his guys over in the next few days to take care of it, no problem! Overall, I feel like Jason and Troy want you to be satisfied and made this process very enjoyable. I will use them for all my landscaping needs. In fact, they are sending their arborist out in the next week for an estimate on trimming 3-4 trees that already existed in my yard.

After receiving four quotes from different companies, I decided on Southern California Tree & Landscape.  I am so impressed with this company from the first contact which was responsive and professional to the day of the work which was efficient and timely.  The crew actually came early and began work without having to be told to begin.  They were extremely quick and responsive to further instructions, and did a thorough cleanup after the completion of the work.  I cannot recommend this company highly enough - one of the best contractors I've ever worked with.  Will definitely use them again.

We were very impressed with the service provided by this company. The tree in question had been badly maintained for many years and had numerous dead branches and rotten boughs. Their staff arborist examined the tree to determine its health and long-term survivability. The crew cut back and reshaped the crown and filled in the hollow root-system with clean soil. The tree is now greening nicely.

We will probably work with them this spring. We will use them because of their quote and references.

Went well. Unfortunately, no remedy could be identified to reverse long term decline of one of four pine trees.

The work, was done was done well (there were 7 workers). Cleanup lasted at least 3 hours.
Considering the work and time for the job, the cost was more than fair.

They were one of the more reasonable companies I found. They not only trimmed the 60 foot palm tress, but they disposed of the debris.

The end finished project is quite wonderful. You could not ask for more when you have such a large project in the making. They communicated with me daily. They had experienced workers. It did take about a year from design to final installation with everything involved and long delays in getting the proper permits to begin.

SOMETIMES WHEN THINGS ARE GOING WRONG, THEY KIND OF IGNORE THEM A LITTLE BIT UNFORTUNATELY. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN THE GRASS IS DYING IN AN AREA OR THE SPRINKLERS NEED REPAIRING THEY DON'T SAY, 'HEY, YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THAT.' THEY JUST LET IT DIE.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE. THE FIREWOOD WAS DELIVERED TO OUR DRIVEWAY AS REQUESTED, AND IT WAS IN ONE PILE. THE PRICES WERE VERY GOOD FOR A CORD OF WOOD.
