We needed our 25 year old sofabed reupholstered, and Parker Upholstery did a wonderful job! We went to their store to pick out fabric, they told us that they could get to it in about six weeks. When the time came, they called to schedule a pickup, came to our house to get the sofa, had it for about a week and a half, and delivered us back a sofa that was better than new. Worth every penny, I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

The service was prompt and reliable. The cost seemed reasonable, however, the quality was outstanding!! I would highly recommend to anyone needing woodworking or refinishing. I was extremely pleased!!

I first called Parker Upholstery to re-do my large outdoor bench cushions that were originally custom made in 2013. It was a difficult task, but Parker Upholstery did a terrific job. They actually had the exact same sun-guard fabric and color! Owner Bobbie recommended an upgraded, less dense foam so moisture will drain better! The end product was even better then the original! On delivery day, I had Bobbie take 4 indoor cushions that needed re-stuffing to regain the original shape and look. No problem, they were promptly returned, good as new. I like that Bobbie does it right the first time!

After calling several upholstery businesses, Parker Upholstery was the only on willing to come out to the house.  We previously moved the large leather sofas from our family room to another room in order to have flooring installed. In order to fit one sofa through the door opening, we had to remove the stuffing and feet from it. After putting it back, the feet would not properly screw into place and the stuffing would not go back into the small zippered opening. Bobby and an assistant came out and fixed the sofa without any problem. Besides coming to the house, his price was fair and he was very professional. I would definitely recommend Parker Upholstery to friends.

It went outstandingly well.  After showing Bobby what needed work, it was clear to us that he understood how and what needed to be done, and he appreciated the value and sentimentality of each of the items.  That is why he received the job.  His description of what he would do, plus a reasonable price for the effort made choosing him an obvious conclusion.
  He touched up the table top and the extra seven install-able table leaves.  He refinished and replaced the seat cushion padding and covers on all eight dining room chairs; in addition to replacing the back caning on two of them.
  He refinished and re-tightened the tea cart, and did a minor repair on one of the antique wheels. He touched up the platform rocker,  and repaired a part of the back structure.  He then added padding to the back and seat, and re-covered the back and seat with leather.
  Subsequent visitors to our home were impressed with the quality of the work, and the comfort of all the newly padded and covered seats.
  Bobby was always there when he said he would be, and met the dates he promised.

   Bobby's personality makes you feel like you are dealing with a long-time friend.  He couldn't be any nicer and more impressive than he is.  If anyone reading this review wants quality and caring work at a reasonable price, Bobby is their man; and they will be making a mistake if they don't select him to do it !

  

Incredible customer service throughout the entire experience.  I've never had anything upholstered before, and it was such a pleasant experience.  Variety of fabric selections at the store.  Chairs were reupholstered with new Sunbrella fabric and are so much more comfortable than before.  Will definitely recommend to friends and family, and we'll definitely use them again in the future!

We had 6 Ethan Allen chairs and 2 newly purchased chairs which we wanted covered in the same material.   The older chairs hadn't been recovered in many years, so the cushioning was flattened.  I went to the Parker Upholstery store in Palos Verdes, even though I live in Whittier, because the great reviews on Angie's list and Yelp seemed to merit the trip.  Bobby was off that day, but his mother and father were there and were quite gracious and exceptionally knowledgeable.

  I took a fabric packet home and called back the next day saying that I would like them to do the work.  Bobby took the call and helped me for the rest of the job.   He was also gracious, knowledgeable, suggested I keep the fabric packet until he came out to pick up the chairs, saving me another long trip.  He was timely with the pickup, completion of the work and delivery.  There was a rare issue with the fabric being caught up in customs.  Bobby kept me calm and updated.  When the fabric was delivered, he completed the job quickly. 

The chairs look TERRIFIC!!!  And the new cushioning is extremely comfortable.  My high expectations were more than met!!!!

I wouldn't hesitate a minute to do business with Parker Upholstery.  The chairs were their own recommendation last night when my book club members saw how beautiful they look.

Everything  went perfectly. All appointments were on time. We dealt with Bobby in all aspects of the work. He came to the house to look at what we needed done , and brought out fabric samples for us to look at. He recommended  the type of  fabric  we should use and gave us a rough estimate of cost. When we picked out the fabric for the sofas he gave us a better estimate of their cost and scheduled a pickup of the sofas and ottoman. He picked them up as scheduled and gave us a completion date. While he had the sofas , we went to his shop to pick out fabric for the chairs. There he had walls of fabric books with thousands  of samples. We took number of books home to choose from. Bobby delivered our sofas, and picked up the chairs. With the sofas in place we tried all our fabric choices with them , and picked out  the fabric. Called Bobby with our choice. He ordered the fabric and finished the job.
