Description of Work: Richard is the ultimate professional and craftsman. He never takes shortcuts, he fixes everything to the high functional level. If plumbing was an art, Richard is a artist.

Description of Work: Provider wasted lots of my time in communications back-&-forth over a couple of weeks about the projects I needed done because after that when it came time to set the appointment he informed me, for the first time, that he could never start work until 9 am which does not work for my schedule. Had he told me of such a limitation at the beginning it would have saved us both a lot of unnecessary time. Not good.

Description of Work: Fixed 2 running toilets that no one else has ever been able to do.

Description of Work: Richard does his own work, so his schedule is somewhat dictated by how long previous jobs take. He had to reschedule the job once because another job took longer than estimated. |That said, the price for installing a new toilet (labor only) was fair. He set up his tools on a neat pad laid out on the floor and then carefully uninstalled the old toilet and a new supply line, cleaned everything up and then installed the new toilet. Nice work and would use again.

Description of Work: Replaced toilet and provided hydraulic seat cover. His select of toilet was top notch, never plugs, very quiet. Installation done very professionally with no collateral damage. Will differently call for when the need arises.

Description of Work: I originally hired Richard (Wildwood Plumbing) to install a new faucet and knobs in my master bathroom. I was so impressed with his work I immediately went out and bought another set for my kitchen sink and had him install that as well! In the master bath he ran into a number of unexpected problems (an older house with original plumbing to match!) but it didn't slow him down much. I liked that he checked with me on everything before taking any action and explained it all to me in terms I could "get". i felt that he could have taken some advantage and charged me more but that didn't happen. He worked hard and steady the entire time he was there. Very fair, very professional and very knowledgable. The kitchen job was the same story..... Richard did a wonderful job and cleaned up really well after himself. I didn't even have to sweep the floor after he left! I would recommend Richard and his company to anyone and plan on using him for all our family's plumbing needs (and you know there WILL be needs!) in the future. Thank you, Angie's List, for helping me find a really good guy!

Description of Work: Fixed our water heater. Also, paid him to fix a leak in our garage and he could not do it. Asked for a letter for our insurance company and he refused.

Description of Work: Wildwood was scheduled for a 0930 arrival, the plumber called at 0930 to tell me he was going to be about 20 minutes late. He arrived as he said he would and performed the work I asked for exactly as I wanted it. He replaced the water supply valve and hose bib in the front of the house and re-oriented them for easier access. Job was done professionally and I thought the cost was very reasonable. Cleanup after the job was excellent. I would call Wildwood again for any plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Richard was excellent! He came and identified the possibilities immediately and was very honest. He actually did not have to do anything because it was just a fluke, but he did corrrect it and did not charge me. I will certaily use him as my plummer from now on. He was also very pleasant

Description of Work: Richard came out to fix a leaking Kitchen faucet after I tried to fix it myself. Since it was a custom hose on the faucet, it was more challenging that simply screwing in one end and then another. He made the first trip out to prevent water flowing all over my kitchen and then ordered the part with arrived a couple of days later. He kept me informed of its status and when it arrived, he came back promptly and replaced the leaking hose. Richard is very nice and easy going, no stress and I'm very satisfied with his work and cost of the repair. Saved me spending hours trying to fix this problem.

Description of Work: New water filter on shower. Earthquake protection on gas valve outside. Cuts off gas if 6 or above quake happens.
