Sterlyn's Custom Textures

Sterlyn's team removed the acoustic ceilings and textured the ceilings.  They did a very good job, and we decided to hire them to paint the interior walls, including closets.  Wrong decision.  Bottom line:  furniture wasn't covered (expensive living room, dining room and bedroom furniture had paint dollops and spatters), paint was spattered on clothes and windows, door handles,  granite counters, and limestone floors.  Sterlyn wasn't on site the majority of the time as he had indicated when we interviewed him, and the fireplace never was textured (The team leader said that it couldn't be done because they were running short time wise!  although Sterlyn belatedly offered to do it. ) >My house looks like two different crews were here although I know that only one crew was.  Some walls and doors and baseboards are good.   Others are terrible.  Roller lines can be seen on some walls, and other walls are wider-striped.  My guests last week asked if I knew that parts of two  guest bedroom walls only had partial second coats on them!....and they were right.  I repainted the two walls yesterday. >I had Sterlyn and his crew return a week or two after they had 'finished.'  They corrected some of the problems but not all.  The fireplace needed to be repainted.  Supposedly, they did, but there were still too many small old paint spots remaining.  I repainted the fireplace, and it looks great - now.> I guess that I should have had Sterlyn return, but I had had it with him and his company.  Not only Sterlyn but the crew leader berated me because I had pointed out problem areas and poor workmanship. >Submitted July 13, 2011.

Sterlyn's workers were on the job just as promised every day! They worked fast and cleaned up after each part of the job. I expected a MESS from this job but they came in and took care of everything! It was an AWESOME experience and they did Fabulous work! I would highly recommend Sterlyn's Custom Textures to Everyone!

The work went really well. The workers did a great job. It took about two and a half days to do the work 1900 sq. ft. (the whole house). There were a few cracks that arose after a few days but they came back and took care of them promptly. Very pleased with their service, their price and the way the ceilings look.
