It's a wonderful doggy daycare. They do training and boarding. They're very good with the animals and have a lot of camp counselors there that work with the dogs, so the dogs aren't just left alone to run wild. They have an indoor and outdoor play area. They have like little doggy jungle gyms and little ramps that they climb on plus there's always several people there. I've been inside and have walked around because I investigate places before bring the dog anywhere. Your dogs have to be current on their vaccinations and they have to be neutered or spayed before they take them so that you don't end up with any problems. They check the dogs when you bring them in and if they have fleas you can't leave the dog there. My dog has a great time there and the price is reasonable. They have all kinds of programs. They even have a doggy app that you can download for your iPad which has a puppy cam, so if you're at work and curious to see how your dog is doing you can download the app to watch your dog at play. I've been there several times and they have little planned activities. This past December they had Santa there, so you could take pictures with Santa and your dog. You could even dress your dog up. They had a little event there and raised money for the local animal shelter. It wasn't mandatory, but they asked if you could bring a box of dry dog food or canned food or whatever you could, like blankets or towels. The inside of the place is spotless. They have these little fenced off areas that are not cages for when you want to board your dog and outside his pen is a little tiny aluminum container where you could put your dogs camping gear, like his leash, food or whatever. It's like how children would have a backpack for camping, but they have their own little storage. It looks like a garbage can, but it's really the storage for their favorite toys or leash and stuff. They will give them their medication and they give them baths. They're just absolutely wonderful and take care of your dog as if it was their dog or like a family member. I know Lisa the owner and I've met a lot of the other camp counselors. I don't feel any hesitation to drop my dogs off there because I know that they are going to be in good care, are going to have a good time, and are going to come back clean which is important. I went to a chichi dog spa many years ago in LA and at the time we had a Lhasa Apso. My husband and I had a business trip to Japan. I spent $120 a day and that poor dog came back so sick. They played music and did paw massages, but he came back so matted and so smelly. He had such a horrible skin problem that I had to take him to the vet which cost me thousands of dollars because it was a skin infection. With Camp Bow Wow she comes back happy and when we bring them I know they're treated well because they are happy to see the camp counselors. They run to them. They also do cute things, like I'll get a picture of her saying what my dog did at camp today. It'll say something like "I played with my pal Capone and Roscoe, so it's kind of almost like a kid at camp. They separate the big dogs from the little dogs. There's a play area for small dogs and a play area for big girls. They can go in and out as they pleased because it's all fenced off. It's great and the inside is cute because it looks like a little log cabin camp house. I haven't had any problems at all with them. Their price is very reasonable. I think I pay $29 for a whole day and it's $19 for a half day. If I have to board a dog $30 a day for a 120 pound dog is a bargain because most places would charge a lot more than that. She gets special holistic food and my elderly shepherd has a lot of health problems, so they'll give their medications to them and that's a godsend. They have specials every now and then, like for Valentine's Day we bought one day and we got a day free. They're also open seven days a week. My best friend brings her dogs there too, so we're very pro Camp Bow wow.
