This was the first time we used Pinks at our home. However, they had recently done a job at our daughter's house and I was there during the service call. I had an initial good impression. The workers were punctual and seemed competent. A few months later, when our guest room toilet wouldn't flush, we called Pinks. Once again, the workers showed up on time and repaired the toilet adequately. I paid the bill, which seemed high. Only after they left did I study the charges. Labor was $165.00. The two men were here about 45 minutes. The charge for material was $85.00 for a flapper and new fill valve for toilet. I called Lowes to get the price for the two items and found that the retail price for the two items was under $10.00!! I called the office twice to ask about the price and to let the owner know why we would not call Pinks again. Sharon, who answered, said she was in a call center and would leave a message for the owner. I never heard back.

Pink's plumber (w/ assistant) provided an estimate and completed the work in a very professional and timely manner. After reassembling the sink drain they snaked the line to the VCP sewer line and refurbished all three shower valves, which was more work than originally quoted. THE FINAL PRICE WAS LOWER THAN THE ORIGINAL QUOTE! Need I write more? I would hire this company again.

I can be very brief! They came punctually, were pleasant to deal with, remembered our same problem from 5 years ago, dealt with it swiftly and efficiently, shared some tips about things we should avoid flushing (for example, so-called flushable wipes), and were finished within the minimum charge time ($165). I can't say better than that!

The guys are well trained, do not make mistakes, and they do it right the first time. If they do make a mistake they come right out and make it right.

They communicated great and showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Since I am out of state they wrote up a very detailed report, which was very helpful to me. We also had to communicate and work scheduling out with our tennant and they were great with that. They were very pleasant on the phone and overall top notch.

I have used Pink several times and am impressed with their prompt and courteous service. John was the workman and he repaired a sprinkler valve in back, replaced my water filter and repaired various sprinkler heads in front. Very happy and consider them our plumbers

They are an excellent company. When I moved into the house, we had some issues, like a shower that might have been leaking. We asked them to come in and check all the plumbing out, just to double-check with the inspection. They came out quickly and on time, and checked them all out. When my drains were clogged, they came out within half an hour and took care of them. They did the drains in my laundry room, kitchen and bathroom too - they did more than I asked them to. They were polite and the men were well-dressed. It was pretty inexpensive. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

Overall, it went very well from our perspective. I think Pinks might have had a slightly different opinion. We were quoted $4800 for a job that was supposed to take 2-3 days, a simple excavation and replacement of a very old orangeburg sewage pipe that was collapsing and causing back flow into the house. Rick came out, gave us the estimate, and though he wasn't the cheapest bid that we got, we were the most comfortable with him because he really explained the project in detail. Where things went a little wonky, they had a LOT of trouble finding the joint to the city sewer line and the three day job ended up taking about 2 weeks. True to their word, though, Pinks didn't charge us a dime over the original estimate, though the work they performed was a lot more extensive than they had thought it would be. I really do recommend them to anyone looking to have quality work done at a fair price. So why do I have the "would not hire again" button marked off? Well, and this could just be me... I've had Pinks out several times for a couple of minor things, and once more for a project involving burying an above-ground gas line. The quotes that I've gotten from them since that big job went sour have been astronomical. It's my feeling (and this is JUST my opinion) that they took such a bath on my sewage-line job that I'm just not going to get an equitable quote from them on anything else. I do recommend them, however, I just don't feel like they are ever competitive with the new jobs I've been pricing.

I am very satisfied with them as they were prompt and fairly priced. They have been good for us all the while we've been using them. They are knowledgeable and provide courteous service. He didn t have any trouble putting in the garbage disposal and my toilets have been working fine now. When he came he was very polite and got right to work. It only took him about an hour to finish the entire job.

I attempted to repair a leaking faucet but did not have the proper tools to complete the job. Went to Angie's list for the first time and and found Pink. Called on 12/5/06 at 5:45pm. Appointment for 9:00am 12/6/06. They arrived at 8:45. The work was completed and charged as agreed to the previous day. Everything was explained in detail regarding the faucet and water pressure.

They were able to solve a problem for me very easily where other companies wanted to charge me thousands of dollars. They removed the pole very quickly, efficiently, and inexpensively. They were fair and knowledgeable and I'd recommend their services to anyone especially because they were familiar with the problem where other companies weren't.

The price seemed a little high, but the workers were fast, knowledgeable, completed all work that was quoted, and cleaned up afterwards.

They were here 3 different times. The manner and work was great. The work putting in a new pedestal sink I bought at Lowe's which included a new faucet set. The job from square hanging sink to this retro sink with the work they did makes it look like a brand new bathroom. The explanations of all work and billing was thorough.

THE WORK THEY HAD PERFORMED WAS EXCEPTABLE. THEY WERE PROMPT. THEY HAD DONE THE JOB AS IF THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND VERY VERY PROFESSIONAL. VERY FRIENDLY AS WELL.

I HAD USED THEM FOR A PREVIOUS JOB IN THE KITCHEN 2 YEARS AGO - THE GUYS WERE TERRIFIC, ON TIME, VERY FRIENDLY AND GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY. THEY EVEN FIXED THE STOPPER IN MY SINK THAT WAS JAMMED AT NO CHARGE.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY REPLACED THE PRODUCT EFFICIENTLY. THEY CAME BACK OUT AND FIXED THE LITTLE CHAIN. THE PUMP WAS NEW, BUT THE CHAIN WAS OLD. THEY CAME OUT AND REPLACED THE OLD PARTS FOR FREE.
