Initially, I contacted this contractor because he had done work for us in the past. He had always done quality work, at the time when he said he would do it, and at a reasonable price. This time around, there were problems from the start, and we eventually had to end the job and the contractor relationship and find another contractor. The main issues were that he was perennially late, disorganized, and not reliable in terms of doing what he said he would do -- losing keys, seeming confused about the specific tasks that made up the job, saying he would return at a certain time, then calling two hours after that time to say he was on his way, then showing finally showing up an additional hour later. He also broke items in our home, including some knicknacks and a door jam, and got paint on various pieces of furniture. He had done very good work for us in the past, but after this experience we will not hire him again.
