"[member name removed], There are many variables to consider when pricing a paint project. For example: types of products used, type of equipment, necessary manpower, amount of paint used, coats of paint, etc. These variables can sometimes vary between companies. We Paint makes every effort to bid all paint projects accurately and fairly. In regards to your project there was a large amount of work including; priming/painting over wallpaper, repairing a large amount of previously poor spackle and texture jobs, priming/painting of built-ins, kitchen cabinets, stairways/banisters and a large amount of trim work. Its unfortunate but if we were that much higher it was for a reason. As you can see from all of are other reviews we are very competitive and quality is exceptional. I apologize for getting back to you late after you did not show up for our scheduled first appointment I was on-time and present for. As stated in our detailed proposal and email to you we will meet or beat any reputable competitor's bid ( with a comparable detailed specification similar to ours) providing they are licensed, bonded and insured with no complaints with the California Registrar of Contractors or Better Business Bureau and have been in business longer than 1 year! Jason's crew arrived promptly at 0800 on 10/17/11 and began the job by power washing the entire home. On Tuesday (and again promptly at 0800) the painting began and completed on Thursday. The crew never left any messes and never bothered anyone inside the house! They were quiet and always professional! The end result is a 20 year old home that looks new and is precisely what I wanted! My expectations were exceeded!
I would not hesitate to use We Paint again should the need arise!
