horrible. I got an estimate 6 months ago could afford to do the work right away, then I called again in December to have him come by to make sure the quote was the same, I never heard from him. I called again and he said no problem, I can probably have it done by the time you get home from work in the next couple of days and then I can swing by for payment. I never heard back from him and the work wasn't done.

Arrived on time and performed all services agreed on very well.

I'd use again, I'd recommend to anyone.

Robert and his crew trimmed a large ash tree in my front yard. The price was average compared to other quotes I received. Work was done in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely hire this company again in the future.

They did a great job, and they were very easy to work with. They came right out and set everything up pretty quickly. I would recommend him.

Robert and his crew of 4 arrived promptly at 8 AM. He stressed that the redwood fences, located roughly 10 and 15 feet from the tree, were not to be damaged. He also told his climber that if he ever got to a point where he felt unsafe, get back on the ground and they would re-evaluate the project. If it took 2 days to bring it down, that was OK. I appreciated his 'safety first' approach. The work began at 8:15, and amazingly, the tree was completely down 4 hours later, at 12:15! The fences were untouched, and a large Pampas Grass directly next the the maple was barely touched. I was thrilled, as I had kind of resigned myself to losing it. The next 4 hours were spent cutting the tree into manageable pieces to be hauled away. The stump was ground up, and nothing but a flat mulch patch left! By the time they left at about 4:30, you would have never known that beautiful had been there! By the way, they discovered the 'cause of death' was not the drought, or our lack of watering, but Carpenter Bees. Those big black bumble-bee types had apparently been living in the tree for years, and finally killed it. Very sad..... We will be working with Robert again next spring to plant another tree back there, perhaps a Weeping Willow. A great company we highly recommend!

Took out dead 40 foot tree in my back yard then Robert saw a small grouping of same type tree in front so he took them out also for his original quote. One of Robert's crew members accidentally broke a sprinkler with a big tree limb, Robert fixed it himself before I even had time to ask.

Robert brought in a chainsaw, a heavy stump grinder and the three-man crew made quick work of the job. They cleaned up the area after the stump was gone. Robert kept me informed when another, much bigger job delayed his arrival. You can't expect more. That was the only glitch in the whole process ... and it wasn't much of one.

Robert and his crew were punctual, courteous and professional. My husband is very sensitive to sound, so they tried to get the noisy parts of the job finished quickly. The trees looked great afterward and everything was cleaned up before they left. I will definitely call him back again next year.

He's really good. I like everything about it. He did all the work himself. When he had a question he'd ask me. I'd rather across the other who will subcontract the work out and not pay attention to what he was doing; he did all the work himself and I like that. He cleaned up really good too and I was really happy. I would use him again. He wasn't the best price; he was the middle and I negotiated with him and he came back with the lowest bid.

Arrived as scheduled. Contacted me during the week prior, to confirm work day. Arrived at 9:15 AM on scheduled day. Completed work and total clean up at approx 12;30PM. I am completely satisfied.

hey did a wonderful job. They cut extra branches that was also over my roof. Took away all the tree trimmings and cleaned up. I would use them again and would refer them to anyone needing tree service.

It could have not gone better!! This is the third time I have used Robert's Tree Care and I will never use anyone else if it is within my control. Robert came out the same day I called and did the work the next day. Not only is Robert a very nice man, he takes pride in his work. His clean up is exemplary. The labor he does for what he charges is extremely fair.. I had work done in my yard about. 3 years ago. The work involved thinning a large evergreen; however, the cost was almost $2,000. Therefore, the cost of services provided by Robert seems cheap. Robert worked on 2 of my very large Willow trees. My previous tree service charged over 3 times as much as Robert. I need not say more.

It could not have gone better--many details included in the above question. Robert's Tree Care is the only tree service I will use in the future. I have a mature backyard which is large. Two years ago when I had work done I paid $1,800. Albeit, I had 2 very large evergreen trees thinned. I have 3 other houses and I know I will be calling Robert's Tree Care again.

Robert was excellent. The price was more than fair. Robert and his crew cleaned up so well you would never know he was there. They did a really great job. He said it would take about 1 1/2 days and it did. Robert explained what he needed to do and was very friendly and professional.

Robert, provides excellent service. his pricing is very fair, and they do a great job in cleaning up afterwards. his motto is to provide great customer service and he lives up to that award! i'll be glad to use him again as well as refer his services.

Furthermore he removed the stumps using a stump grinder (and he took out a couple of shrub stumps that I hadn't asked him to do when he gave me the estimate and he did them with no added cost).

tree removal from very difficult location

On a Friday the 16, 2013, late in the afternoon I called to make an appointment with Robert’s Tree Care and Robert came by within the hour to give me an estimate on trimming an overgrown eucalyptus tree. We settled on a price and Robert told me they would be out on the upcoming Monday. They arrived early and in about three hours had the tree all trimmed up. When it came time to clean up the yard and the street they had done such a good job you couldn’t even tell that Robert and his crew were even here. Robert also let me have an input to what he was doing and if I wanted other areas trimmed he would talk to me in a way that I could understand and not make me feel stupid because I knew nothing about having trees cut and trimmed. I highly recommend Robert’s Tree Care and will use them again for the rest of my trees. Thanks Angie’s List for having them.

I called to make an appointment and he was there within an hour. He gave me an estimate, we agreed upon the price and his men were here within the hour. It only took them about an hour and a half to remove the tree. Very professional, cleaned up the area and all looks great. I was amazed how quickly he responded. Job well done!!!! I wouldn't hesitate to call them back again.

A giant limb broke off of our very large flowering pear tree. We thought we may lose the tree. Robert was able to prune and reshape it so it will be good as new in a couple of years. He was on time (worked 4th of July!), professional, and did an awesome job. His crew chopped and chewed up the limb and cleaned up perfectly. We plan to have him back in the Fall to do some more pruning on additional trees.

Very professional! Came when he said he would, did the work exactly as we wanted, making helpful suggestions along the way. And they left the yard immaculate!
