If you want a company that guarantees their work don’t choose Bellows. I paid a ridiculous amount for a new HVAC system and one week after install it stopped working. This happened on a Saturday and they don’t have technicians available for emergencies on weekends and they won’t reimburse for a company that does. They told me not to worry we’ll make it right but the earliest service date they had available was two weeks later. Post sale they don’t care about the customer or about the quality of their work. Make sure to choose another company for your HVAC needs.

My heat pump installations couldn't have been done better - if I could give them more stars, I would. They proposed the right solution at a good price, and then proceeded to over-deliver in many ways. Every action that was taken was done on time, as planned, and with nice additional touches. For instance, when they needed in light in our basement, rather than brining in a portable light, they installed a light fixture for them to use, and for me to have in the future.

All work was performed professionally and well. I'm around the house lot, so I saw the Bellows plumbers working, and they knew what they were doing. I wasn't thinking about replacing the old disposal until they showed me how close to leaking it was. Since I knew that the disposal was really old, it wasn't a big surprise that it was just a matter of time until it started leaking. And a no-brainer to replace it. My wife and I found the kitchen faucet at Home Depot, and the Bellows guy removed the old one and installed the new one. We were left with a job of finishing the caulking around the sink (it had moved during the faucet replacement and needed to be recaulked), but that was fine. I'm okay with caulking, rather not pay a plumber extra to do that. On the pressure reducer valve (PRV), they brought the related plumbing up to code (and safety standards) by adding an expansion tank at the water heater. Then they installed the PRV that I had found recommended on the internet, even though they usually installed a different, also recommended model. I was happy that they were willing and able to follow what I had found to be the best PRV for the job. They took care of getting the air and junk out of the supply lines, and left the pressure adjusted to 75psi, nice to have a job really finished. I do have to say that their rates are high, I'll have to balance that in the future. The toilet work, unclogging and changing the flapper valve was over $200, but the toilet is working well now, like new. The kitchen faucet change was over $500, about twice what I had hoped for. Changing the disposal was over $500, including the 1/2HP model that they installed. The PRV work was about $1000 including parts...don't know what to say about that one, no basis for comparison. They did give me an estimate ahead of time for the PRV work, and stuck with it. As I said, all work was done completely and professionally. There is a lot to be said for using a contractor that you can count on to do the job and leave you with a nice piece of work that doesn't need to have them come back to fix or finish. On the other hand, the rates charged seemed high to me. I'm willing to pay more for plumbing work that's done well, and I don't feel like I'll need them to come back. I'll figure out in the future if I feel that I can continue to pay their high rates. Confidence in their work counts for a lot for me, though.

Miguel, the service technician, from Bellows is simply the absolute best.  Indeed, from my first call to Bellows to schedule an appointment and throughout my entire service experience with Bellows I literally found myself in awe of Bellows treatment.  They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and very fairly priced.  They treat customers as customers used to be treated in the past, with courtesy, warmth, and genuine thankfulness for their business.  If you need a plumber or a heating expert, run, don't walk, to Bellows.

horrible experience. What should have taken 3 days took 5 weeks because they kept making mistakes and had to come back and make changes and repair. Every time they came back, it was a new person who blamed the last guy for doing it wrong. Issues included: - Installing the wrong type of ducting (had to rip out and start again) - Installed floor vents in wrong place without checking (we had to bring in our flooring guy to repair the holes they cut in the hardwood - Bellows did pay for the repair) - Installing a unit that didn't work with Nest although in scope of quote (had to replace motherboard) - No dampers installed in attic (had to go install them after the fact) On top of that and the lack of communication and accountability, the owner ended up coming to the house to inspect all the problems and started blaming my contractor for getting in the way and blaming my wife for "changing her mind" (which she did not). Yes, they were less expensive and we found them through Costco referred services, but you get what you paid for. All is working fine now, but it was a massive ordeal and the owner and project lead's attitude of blaming everyone else was disgusting.

Bellows technicians -- Jeremy and Sol -- recently came to my house to clean out the vent from my electric dryer thru the roof. I had only bought the house recently and did not know how long it had been since the vent was cleaned. Jeremy and Sol attacked the problem from both the bottom (at the vent entrance in the laundry room) to the top (working down from the roof). They found that it was completely blocked with lint, and removed buckets of lint from the pipe. Without their cleanout, I would have been facing a danger of fire. Not only am I totally satisfied with the high quality of the job that Jeremy and Sol performed, and the care with which they performed that work, I am very impressed by the care they took to keep me in the loop during their work. They were immensely respectful of me and my house, and were careful to explain what they were doing at each step and why. They also showed me the consequences at each step, including the state of the vent before cleaning and the amount of lint removed from both the top of the pipe and the bottom. I found all this very reassuring. The cost of the job was a flat rate of $199. I am not sure if this is high or low, compared to other companies, but I have learned -- in life -- that if you want quality then you have to pay for it. So, I am happy with the price. I know from prior experience with this company that they stand behind their work 100%, which is something that I value. Finally, I would say that both Jeremy and Sol were just fine and decent guys -- folk that I was pleased to invite into my home and whom I felt I could trust to do their work promptly and well. I would have them -- and Bellows Plumbing -- back into my home at any time. This is a company that knows its job, employs good competent folk and wants to deliver a quality service. Exactly what the customer needs!!! Thank you, Bellows, I will certainly call on you again, if and when I have my next problem with plumbing and the like. I recommend Bellows Plumbing very highly indeed.

Bellows came out and bid on the job I had, sometime in July I believe.  They were unable to get everywhere under the house due to major damage caused by raccoons when the house had been vacant.  Basically there was a LOT of insulation pulled out and hanging down, which was infested by rats by then.  Nice, huh?  Anyway Bellows recommended that I work with Clean-Tec and have it cleaned up, but they also gave me a bid for 3 types of ducting.  Apparently the house had been fitted with absolutely the wrong type of ducting for the area, which had enabled the raccoons to have a field day dismantling it.
Once the hazardous stuff was removed, Bellows sent their crew out and within a couple days we had all new ducts.  They did not recommend replacing the insulation since it was all beneath the house and really not doing much good to begin with.
So far this winter everything has been great as far as heating; once Bellows showed me how extensive the duct damage was to the house I realized I had basically spent the entire last winter providing heat to the forest creatures but not to our house.
Bellows has a professional crew and are uber helpful, and I'd use them again.
