Mark and his crew did an AWESOME job for me.  Mark and FINEST FENCE SAVED ME THOUSANDS !!!!     The entire length of the fence (70 feet)  was about to fall over because  the 4x4s were either broken completely at the base or rotted halfway through.  At the farthest end of the fence row, the last section had broken away from the brick wall that it had been attached to. It was literally leaning into the neighbors yard.  
My fence is located in an HOA community which was built in 1997.  I share two fences with neighbors on both sides.  Most of the
fences in this community have either been replaced OR, they are in need of being replaced because they are total disasters like mine!  When you share a fence, SOMETIMES your neighbors will share the cost, and other times, they won't.  Unfortunately for me, they didn't.  I knew I couldn't afford a whole new fence and Finest Fence had the solution for me!!  
The crew was fantastic!  They were simply perfectionists and I am VERY PLEASED with their work!!  They used heavy gauge steel supports, set it deep in concrete, painted the supports and put caps on it to protect from rusting out.  IT'S PERFECT!!!
I know this fence is solid, straight and stable.  It has another three to five years left and, WHEN IT COMES TIME TO REPLACE THE FENCE WITH EITHER WOOD OR BRICK, Mark and his crew at Finest Fence will be the company to do it.  They saved me THOUSANDS and did a wonderful job !

Mark showed up early or on time for every appointment.  He was fair and gave great advice on the best way to fix, update, and make his work fit with the aesthetic of the house.  He brought pictures and helped provide cost effective options.  He is not a contractor that comes out to build whatever you want...he is genuine about the way your property will look once the work is complete.  He even talked me out of building a fence in the front of another property because it would degrade the value of the home.   I appreciated the honest feedback.  We came up with another option to make it work.   His prices are average / fair, maybe a little high...but I would rather pay someone more knowing that they are thorough and will come back to fix it should any such problems arise.

FF installed 2 wood gates & 2 iron gates. It was completed within one day. They were friendly and professional. We are very happy about the work done.

We called Mark at Finest Fence to ask for an estimate on replacing the wood fence at the top of the hill in our backyard.  Our old fence was about 23 years old. The wood was beginning to rot, and boards were falling off. 

Mark came out to give us an estimate on the fence, arriving promptly at the time agreed upon. He was very thorough, told us exactly how the fence would be constructed, what wood would be used, how and where the metal reinforcements would be installed, and all other details about what he was proposing. He asked us what we wanted and gave us a detailed written estimate, something some of the other contractors we called didn?t want to do until they were very certain they would be asked to do the work. We were concerned about how soon the work could be done since we were planning to watch our granddaughter?s dog in the next few weeks and wanted a secure fence.  Even though Mark had a busy schedule, he was able to fit us in so our fence could be installed by the time needed.  Mark?s assistants, Santo, Ricky, and Douglas, were on time, professional, and efficient. They cleaned up thoroughly after the work was completed. They sealed the fence with Wolman?s, something we gladly paid extra for. Mark said the sealer should last at least three years or more.  I plan to have Mark come out in a few years to reseal the fence to keep it looking as great as it does now. Our old fence lasted for about 23 years; however, it was never the quality of this fence!  This fence should last us a good long time! I?ve dealt with many contractors over the years, and Mark ranks at the very top of that group. I definitely recommend Mark and his crew and will hire him again when the need arises.

Overall it went great. Mark the owner came out and took a look at what I needed along with my reference. He came up with some good ideas along with sound financial compromises. I really like that they use hidden steel posts rather than the dinky anchor posts I usually see. The fence will last longer and be far safer than what other installers were offering. It took three days to install. The workers were prompt, courteous and skilled. The foreman was outstanding, he really knows what he's doing. He asked key questions along the way usually with one or two choices lined up for me to choose from. He also worked with me when I saw something I wanted changed or modified. They cleaned up after themselves each night. 
After they were almost complete when I noticed that one area of fence that switched sides (the nice side faced inward with my property but outward for the street view) would look much better double sided. It was the weekend and they couldn't pick up the extra boards until Monday. This ended up taking weeks to complete which would have been fine if there was a scheduled date but due to do irregular communication I did not know when this was going to happen. I sent emails and left phone messages about when they could return, this was important since I needed to schedule the stainers. In the end they came and completed the work to my satisfaction.
Things to know: they don't stain or provide/install gate locks and handles. I purchased the locks and handles before they came so they could weld the appropriate lock box to the frame. Then I had a locksmith install the hardware. As for the stain I used Teak Master's, who did an excellent job.
I continuously receive compliments on both the pergola and the fence from both neighbors and people driving by.

They completed all of this work in two days and were very willing to make changes on work that I felt did not look or work right. They also made suggestions which proved to be better than my plans and added some additional fencing trim and wood spacers to enhance the appearance, without additional charges. This job involved a lot of different fencing issues and it proved to be very helpful for me to be at home during the installation as numerous unexpected issues and decisions were needed as the work proceeded. I am very pleased with the finished work and have received many compliments on the fencing and gates. I would recommend Finest Fence anytime.

Provided gave us a detailed estimate for work. We shared the estimate with our neighbors and are waiting to hear from them.

After getting estimates from three other companies, I?m glad I went with Mark and Finest Fence.
Communicated by email first and got a general estimate of the cost of the job. Communication was fast and thorough. 
Mark came out personally to give detailed estimate. He was on time, very professional, and very knowledgeable. Along with a large album of photos of prior jobs, he brought samples of all the materials, including the posts used for the fence and gates. The materials Mark uses are heavy-gauge and far, far superior to what the other companies proposed using. They will outlast any wood posts by decades. Also, because of the ultra strong and narrow design of the posts, I only lost the absolute minimum amount of space in my yard, since the fence does not stick far out into your property. My yard is narrow, so that made a big difference.
Mark explained the installation, his choice of materials, and how the job was to be performed.
On the day of the install the workers showed up precisely on time. They had all the equipment needed. When they began digging holes for the posts they discovered a pipe and immediately came up with solutions, resulting in no damage to the pipe and no delay in the installation.
They worked quickly, kept everything clean and neat, and answered any questions I had along the way. 
The fence looks absolutely spectacular, the only thing that looks better is the welded  steel custom-made gate. The gate posts are thick steel and sunk into at least 3ft of concrete. None of this is ever going to get loose or start to sag. Every post was painted, capped, and finished to look immaculate.
At the end of the day the workers cleaned up my yard so well that it appeared they had never been here. In fact, they started cleaning my deck, just because they had walked across it. A guy was literally on his hands and knees wiping it down. 
I believe in hiring people who add value to your home, and leave it better than when they came. Over the years I have had many contractors at my residence, but I have never seen such meticulous work, attention to detail and respect for my property. If this review appears too effusive, it is only because the caliber of work was that good. I admit, I?m hard to please, and not every company on this site gets this type of review form me. This time, it was earned and well deserved.

I was referred to Finest Fence by a friend. Mark, the owner, made an appointment for an estimate. He was right on time. His design of  the dog enclosure  made much more sense than my anticipated design. He assured me that his smaller design will look very nice, and cost less than what I planned. He was right. We discussed the construction of the redwood gates, that would be attached to heavy metal posts that would be cemented in the concrete. There would also be metal bars reinforcing the back of the gate. My old fences that were poorly made would open when we had a good earthquake jolt. The estimate was very fair. I felt very comfortable signing the contract. He said that the job would take 1 1/2 days.

The work was scheduled for Tuesday, September 23. The crew, headed by Chava, also included Oscar and Luis. They arrived right on time. They worked a full 9 hours without wasting time. The communication was great as we fine tuned a few details. They came back on Wednesday to finish the job, arriving right on time. They worked 1/2 day, as promised. The job looks great. The dog enclosure is very sturdy and stable, giving me a great sense of security for my dog. The redwood gates are very sturdy and look great.

I had a great experience with Finest Fence.  The owner spent a lot of time educating me fence options, and he gave a competitive bid.  The work was very well done.  I had hoped the fence itself would be taller (the horizontal boards ended up starting lower than I expected), but that's my own fault.  I believe we paid an additional $250 because of the extra wood that was necessary for the job.  I would recommend them.

Installation went fine, quality of work was good, although partial payments were requested daily, which we accommodated although this was not in the contract. Follow up phone calls asking some questions have never been returned. I guess Mark received his money and is not interested in any more business from us. I hope we have no issues with the installation.

Service was amazing and the fence is BEAUTIFUL.  I have absolutely no complaints what-so-ever about the work performed.  The work was done on-time as promised and the expertise was impeccable.  I would hire them again hands-down and highly recommend too.  I got several estimates and their price was right on target, maybe not the cheapest, but as they say, you get what you pay for.  Everyone is super nice too.  Love my new fence!!

Mark,Santiago,and the entire crew did a fantastic job. All of them were highly professional and polite. Mark helped us match the perfect privacy and picket fence for our home. He gave my wife and I quotes for both vinyl and redwood. We decided to go with the vinyl and we couldn't be happier. The entire crew worked hard to get all the fencing installed quickly. The best part of the installation was the crew singing to the radio and enjoying their work. All you need to do is watch the crew for a bit and you will see that they enjoy their jobs and strive to make you happy. Thanks again guys. First, I'd like to separate the crew that did the work from the administration.  The guys who came out and did the job were friendly, professional, and genuine in their desire to do the job right.  They did a great job, and the three fences came out great.
Now to the part that didn't make me happy:
The estimator came out, and I walked the property with him, showing him exactly what I wanted.  As best I could tell, he wasn't taking notes for much of it.  He took a couple of measurements, but said he'd use Google Earth to do the quote.  When it came time to do the job, the location of the gate was missing and the measurements were incorrect.  Mark, the owner, talked to my wife and asked us to pay the difference in materials.  During the course of the conversation, he suggested that the measurements were incorrect because we had changed the design on the fly.  When she insisted that he stick to his contract, he hung up on her.
Being rude to your customers and implying that they're trying to cheat you is not a great way to run a business.  If he had just admitted that his estimator had made a mistake, there wouldn't have been an issue.

Perfect in every way. Mark was professional, helpful, made useful suggestions. We were so persuaded he was the right person for the job we didn't bother for another bid. We made revisions, so he had to come out twice after the original bid, which he did efficiently. Santos, the foreman for the job, was clear and a marvel to behold; in fact the entire crew clearly knew what they were doing and worked very efficiently, and I don't believe I saw any mistakes. The construction is solid, meticulous, and the finished work is wonderful. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Awesome work and service. Ken came out to do the quote which I received right away, and after some emails back and forth regarding stains and painting the work was done in one day as originally stated. Santos and Eduardo (I might be wrong with this gentleman's name) arrived at 9am and were completely done by 3pm. Brand new fence and all. They were very clean and professional. Only issue that came up but was resolved very quickly was a miscommunication regarding the staining of the fence. It wasn't done on Saturday since it was not in the contract but after discussing the situation with Ken and Mark our new fence was stained the following Wednesday. I will definitely use Finest Fence again. They were easy to work with and very courteous. Great job all around.

Mark met with me and evaluated the job, we have very nice and professional and recommended a great type of fence for my property.  His team was on time and very curious and hard workers.  Unfortunately, on the days that they had to work, it was 100+ degrees out but that didn't stop them from doing an amazing job.  The foreman Chava was such a nice guy and an incredible carpenter.  He build our new gate on the spot, welding and bolting it together in the hot heat.  My wife describe the whole job as a work of art.  Before they left, each one of the Finest Fence team walked up to me and thanked me for my business, I thought that was admirable.  I would certainly recommend Finest Fence to anyone who wants a great quality and great looking fence!  Thanks!
