About us

Weeks Drilling & Pump Company started out in 1906 as a country hardware store and small pump shop, owned and operated by Hod Weeks. It was originally located in the heart of Sebastopol on what is now called Weeks Way. In 1949 Walter & Mary Thompson purchased Weeks Hardware and decided to retain the well established Weeks name. By the early 1950s they had sold the hardware store to devote their time and energy exclusively to the pump shop and also add on the drilling operation capability. When the system broke they charged my double the hourly fee to come out and fix it because I had refused to pay a bill for the terrible service and loss of my water.

I have always been very satisfied with them. They have always been on time. We had to move our well because the casing rusted through so they found a new location. They had to go lower because there was a septic tank about it. They handled everything with the county. They come when I have problems. They have replaced pumps in the past. They have always done a good job and they come right away. I haven't compared their prices but I think they are reasonable.

They were not really careful about the oak tree. If you care about you're environment, a driller is not going to be really careful about that sort of thing. You're pretty much on your own to make sure that things are taken care of in that respect. They do not do a very good job cleaning up afterwords.
