They are a good company, the price can be expensive, but they are a very reliable company to work with.

Usually I went to another facility hearing some brake noise and I got it checked out he told me that I needed a $400 brake job.  I did not think that the brakes needed that much work so I went to Horsman because they had good reviews and they are AAA, they worked on the pads and the rollers and I have not had any problems ever since and that is where I take my car now.  It is a nice company and they will not bill you for work that is not necessary.  Their prices are fair and I think they give discount of 10 % for AAA members.  I even had a flat tire and had it checked for air and they could not find a leak.  They could not explain the cause but the tire was holding air thereafter and they did not charge me for it.  I thought that was good too.  They are honest and that is a big thing.  Price wise they are not cheap, they are not as expensive as the dealership but you need to pay a little bit.  It is not like the jiffy around the corner and you get better quality of work.

It didn't work well that's why I don't use them anymore. I had transmission problem with my car and they came back and said I needed a new transmission. When I got a second opinion, the other place showed me that the transmission fluid was black which meant that Horsman Auto had never changed it or apparently checked it. They told me it would cost $1000 and I had it fixed for $60 through another repair shop. I no longer used Horsman after that. I relied on them to do preventive maintenance on my vehicle. In the early years, I would bring a list of items from my car's manufacturer and at one point, they told me that I didn't need to bring them a list because they had all of the preventive maintenance schedules in their computer. Clearly, at some point, either their schedule wasn't accurate or they didn't perform the service but for my automatic transmission fluid that turned black when it was supposed to be red and for me to have problems with the transmission that was fixed just by replacing the transmission fluid, I felt like they were not doing their job. The quality of their troubleshooting was pretty poor; they didn't even apparently check the transmission fluid. They were very responsive and got back real quick to me. They were always professional.

I was planning to have to replace all the brakes but only needed the front brakes replaced they were so honest and upfront the whole situation was a breeze I will definetly be going back to Horsman Automotive in Santee we were impressed.

I made an appointment and waited in the office for the car to be done. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. They were ok with my small dog waiting with me. There's grass outside to walk the dog and Sonic right across the street. They were done very quickly. I had been referred there by family and friends who've been going to them for years. They're very focused on getting the cars in and out as they should be. Very business like, dependable. I've been there twice now.

They provided excellent service. I most appreciated their honesty. I never felt taken advantage of by the service techs. It feels good to bring my car to a reputable service center.

It went smoothly. I dropped of the vehicle and received a ride to my work, approximately 4 miles. The job was done before promised and I received a phone call informing me that the car was done. I picked up the car that evening, the price was as promised, the vehicle was clean and the brakes work perfectly.

Smooth upfront knowledgeable and extremely professional.

He looked at it and ran it through some diagnostics and everything cleared. There wasn't any problem. I put in some gas treatment prior when I had a long road trip and that may have issue. I was impressed with the service and I would go back.

Whenever I call, they get me in right away. They do my oil change in like 30 minutes while I wait. They call you as soon as the car is ready telling you that you can pick it up anytime. I can pretty much go in whenever I want. They are a lot more reasonable than the dealer too.

I used them for more than 25 years. They've always treated me right and they are very fair. They honor their warranty. One time when I went in there, my generator was bad and I had it replaced there I thought about 4 or 5 years before and when I went to pay, they said there's no charge because they had looked up in their computer and find out that it was replaced by them before so they replaced it again for free. I didn't even know they were supposed to do that and I really trust them. I know that they're not the cheapest place around. I can't remember their price but you get what you paid for, I'd rather get it done right and trust them than go to a cheap place and have some guy that didn't know what he was doing. They usually find out what's wrong with the car right away but sometimes they have to wait for parts or something or they're packed up so it may take a while to fix it. I believe you can make an appointment with them, fix for certain things. They are very professional and I highly recommend them.

I have come to trust Pete and Billy on all repairs that I have had done. Not once have I been disappointed with their work. Fair prices and Quality work.

HORSMAN AUTOMOTIVE CHANGED THE BRAKES ON OUR VEHICLE AND SERVICED IT. THE MANAGER WAS A VERY NICE MAN AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE ON THE PRICE AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. I WOULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

DID A GREAT JOB AND DIDN'T TAKE LONG. THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. THE QUOTE THEY GAVE ME WAS VERY ACCURATE. WOULD RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS. THEY DID WORK IN SAME DAY.

WORK WAS DONE IN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME, VERY REASONABLY PRICED WITH GREAT AVAILABILITY.

I HAVE MULTIPLE VEHICLES AND LIMITED EXPERIENCE WORKING ON THEM. IT TOOK AWHILE TO FIND A PLACE WE WERE BOTH COMFORTABLE WITH. AT HORSMAN'S WE FEEL LIKE THE PRICES ARE FAIR FOR THE WORK BEING DONE. WE HAVE NEVER FELT LIKE THEY ARE JUST DOING THINGS TO UP THE PRICE. THE STAFF IS PROFESSIONAL AND THE WORK IS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER.
