Smooth Movers

Smooth Movers did an amazing job for us on very short notice. I bought a large dining room hutch on craigslist, and the seller wanted it out as soon as possible. So I had to find someone reasonable, reliable and available very quickly. After emailing and or speaking to no fewer than two dozen movers who didn?t meet those criteria, Smooth Movers was recommended to me. I emailed them and within a few minutes had a firm commitment for the next night! Lucas and Jesus showed up on the dot of 8, as promised, armed with plenty of materials to protect such a large piece. It has a lot of glass so I was particularly worried about breakage. And the seller had just done a bunch of remodeling and was worried about his floors and ceiling dents. Lucas and Jesus came in, calmly assessed the situation and planned out how best to maneuver this piece down a flight of stairs, past a sloping ceiling and down another flight of stairs outside. Their calmness is significant here bc the seller had not cleared the exterior path for them, nor had he emptied out this ginormous piece of furniture before we arrived. The whole process took about 45 minutes of very careful, patient work on the parts of Lucas and Jesus. I was SO impressed with their communication throughout, both with each other and with the seller and me. They were calm and focused with each other and made sure the seller was comfortable with how they were handling the move every step of the way. At my house, they handled the setup of the piece just as competently and calmly as everything else, and nothing was broken. What a relief! In short, these are nice, smart, professional, competent guys and definitely the best movers I?ve ever worked with. I would absolutely hire them again for a small move or large and will be recommending them highly from now on.
